Great place to have your dog looked after. The staff are great with the animals and Hayley and Mike care very much about the service they provide.
This is where I take my dog for his vacation, although I have seen people take stick insects, reptiles and of course cats. From my own experience the level of care is high, with dogs being exercised in a dedicated are and under careful supervision. It's a purpose built complex, rebuilt only recently to cope with high demand and care levels. Security is high and the animal accommodation well thought out so I can leave my pet here and not have any worries.
Can't recommend Scamps enough our 2 dogs Roo and Bailey are well looked after and the kennels are really clean and tidy. Hailey and Mike do a fantastic job.
Can’t recommend Scamps enough. Very caring and provide excellent care. My beagle loved her time there and they are always so accommodating at short notice.
Absolutely fantastic kennels and care given to animals is 100%. Pets at your family and all animals are treated like family at scamps. My dog loves it there
Our two terriers stayed for a weekend and seemed to enjoy their stay. The kennels look clean and warm, and the dogs have a good view of the outside. The staff are great, they followed regulations and took our instructions on board. Will definitely bring our two again. We have never put our dogs in kennels before, so we were very apprehensive. I now have no worries at all.
We have used these Kennels for several years and cannot recommend highly enough, our little lad “Arthur “absolutely loves going to stay there and sulks when we bring him home , Mike, Hayley and team do a wonderful job. We always feel Arthur is being well looked after while we are away.
We have been using Scamps for many years , in the past been to other kennels but after previous bad experiences, Scamps recommended to us. Since then we haven't looked back. It feels and is a family run business, which is excellent for consistency of care for your pets. We have 3 German Shepherds, who are all rescues, with their own issues. They get excited when they arrive there and don't even notice us leaving! When they are on medication, the team are more than competent to deal with giving them and caring for any conditions. They have access to a vet too which is comforting to know. Hayley, Mike and the team are extremely competent and we always get our dogs back in excellent condition. The kennels were really good before, but now they are being refurbished and are going to be fantastic and luxurious ! We are genuine customers and have no other reasons for this rating apart from knowing that when we need to put the dogs in kennels, we know they are safe, well exercised and happy!
We have been taking our dogs here for a few years. They are happy to go and we are happy with the way they are cared for. The fact we can take their own food means no upset tummies when we get them back. We also take their own bedding and toys. We get a small discount for 2 in a bed and for our own food. Their accommodation is big and heated when needed. Hayley and Mike and their staff are professional but very friendly. Our 5 dogs love them and we highly recommend them.
