   Writing this review after reading a few suspiciously similar negative reviews. My dog has been boarding with them for the last few years. Before boarding her, she went for a settling in session for a few hours and they asked for proof of vaccinations. She can be a bit nervous, especially around new people, but absolutely loves going to woodbine and jumps straight out of my van when we get there. She has stayed there for different amounts of time, from a night or two to longer periods and i have never had an issue when collecting her. They ask annually for proof of vaccinations, as the date is recorded on their system. Staff always friendly and Carly always as accommodating as possible.

   Our dog went to day care here, he wasn’t there for long before we were told he wasn’t allowed to come back due to ‘humping’ other dogs, which we thought was fair enough as we wouldn’t want any other dogs to be distressed by his behaviour. However when we questioned some staff about what he had been doing they were very cagey and said they weren’t aware of this and it must of happened on a day they weren’t in/they were looking after a different dog so didn’t see it. After asking to speak to the manager repeatedly regarding this we were constantly fobbed off, told she wasn’t in, she was on the phone, we would get a phone call another day ect. Since that day our dog has been reactive to other dogs and appears scared of other dogs at times - which previously he had NEVER been and was always playful and sociable. So obviously we feel something more happened that day, which we will never know.

   Woodbine kennels were recommended to us by a friend who had boarded their dog their for many years. The kennels we had used for all our dogs had changed hands with an alarming drop in quality. We are now in our third year of using Woodbine and can highly recommend them. The welfare of our two dogs is of paramount importance to us when we go away and it is essential the kennels meet our requirements of first class care and welfare of our dogs along with good communication when dealing with us. Our dogs quickly got used to Carly and her team and are happy when arriving and equally happy and healthy when we collect them. On our latest holiday they were with Woodbine for 18 days which was the longest we have ever left any of our dogs in kennels. We were obviously anxious about doing this but our concern was unfounded as they were in great form when we collected them with lovely feedback from everyone concerned. As previously mentioned we would have no hesitation in recommending Woodbine kennels.

   My mini dachshund, Ted, stays at Woodbine often. He absolutely loves it! The staff go above and beyond to ensure that he feels settled (he's an anxious soul) and he always receives the best care and attention. The facilities are clean and hygienic and I cannot praise Woodbine and the staff enough for looking after Ted whilst I am away - Thank you to all the staff! You are doing amazing!

   I recently just put two of my cats in at Woodbine. I can honestly say they were amazing. I got update pictures while I was away on holiday and the staff treated my two cats so well. One of my cats is very skittish and on one of the updates she was letting staff stroke her and even enjoying a licky mat! They took such good care and at drop off the reception staff were very smiley and polite. Amazing place and I will be booking again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Our Great Dane puppy absolutely loves his time spent at Woodbine not only at Doggyday care once a week but also at a recent week long stay at their kennels. We have always avoided kennels after a bad experience in the past BUT surely we would know if our dog had hated staying here by him not wanting to return for doggy day care! We are non plussed at a previous negative customer comment on this forum as our dog came back without smelling or tickladen! We know without a shadow of a doubt that he had had a positive experience.

   When the dogs don't want to leave Woodbine when you collect them after a week, you know they've had a great time!! Well organised, lovely staff and seem genuinely caring towards all the animals there . Bracken and Nessa have clearly enjoyed their time there and have had wonderful care. Thank you to all the staff. Would highly recommend.
