So this is a bit of a strange review... we have been to this holiday park before in 2022, and it was excellent, we went in early October during term-time... no complaints. However, we went during October half term 2025 and we've got mixed reviews. We had a late check in time (which was fine) and when we arrived the caravan we had been allocated had had a dog in it. It smelled strongly of dogs, dog treats had been left in the cupboard and there were paw prints on the sofa. We did not request an animal caravan. (Also, there were cleaning cloths on the floor outside the caravan door, not a great first impression) My husband has severe asthma so I went to reception to complain. The woman at reception grabbed some details off me and told me to wait. Whilst waiting, about 10 other people were complaining too about their caravans not being ready and about mold. Every single customer complaining was VERY rude to the staff, it made me very uncomfortable. I feel bad for the staff who have to endure all those rude people during peak times, it is not an easy job! The woman came back to me after a few minutes and asked if I could grab a coffee and wait in the owners lounge. After about 10 minutes she apologised for everything and gave me keys to a new caravan. I didn't expect this, as I would have been happy if our caravan got a thorough clean. She explained that dogs were not allowed in the caravan and somebody must have snook one in. When we got to the new caravan... the key didn't work. We went back to reception and they gave us another key. We finally got through the door after 5pm. We were given an upgraded caravan which was much nicer than the original and it was clean woth no dogs In sight! Whilst on holiday, the camp felt dirtier than it did in 2022. I understand it is very busy during the school holidays, but the it just felt grubby - I have never experienced this with Haven before as we always go during term time when its quieter. Anyway... 5 stars for customer service because they fixed our problem and the staff were polite throughout our trip. 3 stars for cleanliness 4 stars for the caravans (only because the new one we were given was upgraded and very clean).

6 of us went in two caravans. Our caravan was changed last minute (i think due to the current guests requesting to stay longer). We were upgraded, and the caravan was very clean and tidy. Our other van wasnt too nice. I appreciate it was a dog-friendly one, but the dog now has fleas, and it wasnt fully stocked (2 cups only, no serving spoon, clothes maiden, few pillows, big knives etc). After ringing, staff replenished what they could, but said some items were unavailable. Food situation - Burger King, Chopstix, fish and chips, papa johns... long long wait times, ordered 3 times through Haven app... one time BK didnt come so we had to walk up to get and they just said "the order didnt come through!" The park itself was fairly clean, the pool is boring, one single slide and lifeguards close it early along with the shallower pool The entertainment was average and the arcade, whilst fab machines, required tons!!!! of tickets for anything (Haven item was 5,000 tickets vs Llandudno Pier 1,500 tickets for the same item!!) If you're happy to use it as a base and do your own activities in the surrounding areas, it's ideal! To stay on site for a week and remain entertained, would be problematic! Friendly staff. We'll defo be back to haven, but Hafan Y Mor is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy better

Just finished a 5 day break away with family and friends here. The caravan itself was pretty good, a couple of little things like the doors not aligned properly so you had to lift them to close them but it didn't overly bother us. We were in a good location for us at the outer parts of the park so we weren't too close to the busy centre amenities. Walking distance to them though which was nice in an evening. Good choice of food if you didn't want to cook yourself, Papa John's, chippy, noodles and a burger king. Also the pub on site. We chose to get food from the local town of Prestatyn just for a bit more variety and we cooked a couple of nights, with a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl etc in a short driving distance away. Walked along the sand dunes a couple of mornings, again which was nice. We did have a slightly bad experience during one of the swimming sessions we booked, the pool was busy (as expected) and there was a family hurling a rugby type pool ball from one end of the pool to the other. The ball hit a few people on a number of occasions, I saw the lifeguard ask them to move closer to each other but they ignored her. The ball then hit my daughter in the face twice and gave her a black eye, I went over to the same lifeguard and told her what happened and she just shrugged and said 'well I've asked them to move closer'. Personally id have given them an ultimatum, either stop or get out. Instead we left our session early and didn't bother going to our other booked session. Now, my opinion on the park and this is just my opinion.... I've been to a couple of havens before for that 'cheap and cheerful' break for a few days to entertain the kids. This park, even though is set in a beautiful area definitely attracts a certain 'chavvy' clientele. Not my sort of people and definitely didn't enjoy the smell of cannabis in certain areas of the park when you walked past them, the dog poo left on walkways nor the backfiring of car exhausts as they are driving around the park. The kicker was the absolutely legless woman falling into the bushes outside the arcades. Not the sort of family friendly park I'd want to return to unfortunately. Hasn't put me off going to a haven but I doubt I'll return here during peak times.

A very remote location with not a lot around outside the park itself. The beach isn't really much of a beach. The resort itself, has an arcade however it isn't as good as previous Haven arcades visited and they seem more expensive. Entertainment is loud, can be fun for the kids but there is bright flashing lights. You can get delivery to the bar area from takeaways on site and also delivery to caravans. Nice park to explore and lots of activities to book. The staff all seem absolutely lovely and are very child focused. Swimming seemed quite busy. There is no swim suit dryer in the swimming facilities, so bring a waterproof bag too. Don't arrive on an empty tank as the fuel stations aren't exactly nearby. There is also a wonderful garage JJM just down the road incase you arrive broken down- like we did!

Myself and my partner stayed here the middle of September 2025. We adore Wales and like to explore so only need a base as we’re out all day. I came across their β€˜Saver’ caravans which are just basic caravans which is all we needed for somewhere to sleep and have breakfast in the morning. It was Β£49 for 4 nights which is the price of one night in a cheap B&B. I’ve been coming to North Wales for all my life and I’m in my 50s now so know the place pretty well , it’s my favourite place to be. However I’d never stayed at this particular site on Presthaven Beach Resort and to with a budget caravan I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well it was not a case of you get what you pay for, it was absolutely beautiful. Yea the caravan was basic but I don’t know if you could call it basic. It was clean, tidy and had everything you’d need. Cooker, fridge, microwave etc and there was even a little welcome package with two mugs set out with a spoon in each next to the kettle. Now that might not seem much to some but for me it’s those little touches that make all the difference. ( thank you guys and never stop doing this) I’ve stayed in a lot more expensive places and not got that. It was so easy to book and the staff were so efficient at check in. We had fresh pillows and a duvet delivered within minutes of arriving and then you’re just left to enjoy your holiday. The site is absolutely beautiful too and to be honest, I’d go back and probably stay on the site more. We’d already planned our days tracking the coasts and mountains but we were really impressed with how nice the actual site was. It was like a little community with all anyone would need. And to top it off, we were right next to the sand dunes and beach with a beautiful wetland between. Take a torch and see the wildlife at night, it was gorgeous. Our caravan was right near the mini market and all the amenities and we even had a view of the hills over the road which looked awesome at night with all the little lights on. We’re already planning on returning next year without a doubt. We still can’t believe we only paid Β£49 for 4 nights. It really shows that you sometimes get way more than you paid for. Possibly one of the best holidays I’ve had at any price but just shy of 50 quid, I mean come on, it doesn’t get much better than that. Such a beautiful place that I feel will now be our place we stay on our annual Welsh adventures. I can’t believe I’ve never stayed here before. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone and there’s loads to do for families with kids but also it could be a relaxing holiday for those who just want to chill out. Thank you guys for an amazing four nights, I will never get over how cheap it was yet how beautiful the place is and the surrounding areas. A massive 10/10 from us and we will definitely be back next year. We’re so impressed.

I arrived here, having solid memories of my childhood, and wondering what possibly could have changed over the 20 years since I'd last visited as a young girl with my family. Well, I must admit, I was a little disappointed. Whilst, the caravan we were staying in was spotless and well presented, the entertainment side of things was rather lackluster. And the activities that we did book were canceled at very short notice. The arcades were very VERY basic. I'm talking a couple of 2p machines with rubber ducks and various other equally as dull prizes, a few arcade games that have seen better days, and a few claw machines that had knock off merchandise inside. At the back, hidden out of sight, was a ridiculously overpriced Burger King. Β£22 for 2 medium meals! I know you're paying for the convenience, but that's insane! The Live Lounge seemed to be completely closed the times we tried to visit. We even asked a member of staff at the reception desk for information on upcoming shows, but she sort of shrugged her shoulders and told us she didn't know what to say. The park itself looked like it hadn't seen a lick of paint since 2005. Although nostalgic, it really ought to be brought into the 21st century. Presthaven Sands: Thank you for the memories, but perhaps this is one visit, I shouldn't have wasted the 5 hour journey on!

We booked a weekend away to celebrate a birthday with our parents on the touring pitches. Due to the weather, our elderly parents cancelled, but having seen how far away the touring pitches were, it was definitely for the best. At a good 25-minute walk each way, there is absolutely no way my mum could have walked that distance. I definitely feel that the distance should be made clear when booking. It felt like the touring area was an afterthought, with ALL the facilities in the one area. I am only in my 40s, but as I suffer from severe low iron levels, I must admit the enjoyment was lost. So much in fact we left a day early. The toilets in the entertainment area had no running water for washing hands ( are you even allowed to operate with this situation?) Activities were cancelled without notification...thankfully, we were already in the Activities zone and hadn't walked a 50-minute round trip for nothing! I feel that this site definitely requires improvement. We have visited many Haven sites before, and this is the only one we would definitely give a miss.

This holiday village is quite rightly an award winning complex. We enjoyed our time at the Haven Presthaven. The facilities are excellent and the staff all seemed very pleasant and helpful. We travelled in a motorhome and like many use Unfortunately the local bus service is not great so we used taxis. Just a suggestion and not a criticism. Perhaps a call to local bus operators to see if they would consider supporting the village with transport? Well worth a visit.

The caravan we had was the perfect location and was extremely clean and well kept. We loved it. It was privately owned though so rented through the owner. The playground outside is great, as is the arcade, our little girl loved it. I would say the entertainment rooms and swimming pool area were slightly run down and probably not as clean as I personally would have liked, but we went just after the school holidays so it could have been that there's just not as much staff on. We went for a little break, and our little girl had the best time, which is what it was about to us. I wouldnt be in a rush to go back, however I also wouldn't write off ever going back.

Had the most amazing time with the children and family. The caravan was lovely and we stayed in the standard caravan. But of a walk to the main places but not too bad. The place as a whole could do with some organisation and more entertainment for children but was good. We will be back next year :)
