“A lovely placed campsite with great staff. Very easy to check in and had no issues. The only small issue is the lack of temperature regulation, we struggled with the heat of the showers (Mainly as it was 32 degrees out) would be nice if you had a form of heat adjustment. Brilliant site, quiet and generous pitches”
“Stunning location with so much to do and see. A walking trail, beaches, the city, pubs and restaurants galore and spectacular scenery. The site itself could have done with a slightly larger shower block, but it's ok. The site is well maintained and clean. It's far away from any main road noise however I recomend the grass pitches at the far end for the most peaceful stay.”
“Stayed for 1 night (18/09/25) & it was so nice. Everywhere was spotless, the staff were friendly & helpful & the best part was the music playing in the toilets & showers. Loved singing along (badly) & dancing away whilst having a shower!! Would definitely recommend”
“Excellent family friendly campsite, super friendly and polite staff, clean shower/toilet facilities, superb cafe, food was really good and value for money. Swimming pool was great nice and cool although you do have to book, which is understandable and logical to prevent overcrowding. Will definitely visit again.”
“Just got back from Common wood after a four day fishing trip on Llewellyn lake and had a great time, me and my pal both beat our personal best. The fish in Llewellyn are in amazing condition the place is pretty clean and tidy. The Bailiff Tony was brilliant, he came around every morning and anything we needed he sorted, he also shared his knowledge of the lake with us. We had breakfast delivered to our pegs and we also went down to the bar for a pizza and beers in the evening. The pizza’s are handmade and cooked in a pizza oven and it’s the best tasting pizza i have had in a while. The food and atmosphere is great.”
“What a beautiful site so many trees and a beautiful garden which is very well maintained. Mobile home we stayed in was excellent, everything was really clean and tidy. Did not expect to find this in the middle of Chester.”
“The pool was AMAZING really loved it. Cash bingo was great, too.Even in November there was loads to do. Booked again for next year. Shop was Brill, reasonably priced, could get everything except potatoes. Not even frozen jacket spuds. As a diabetic and having been to lots of Haven sites, this site had no diet Lemonade except in a bottle. At £4 for a mixer pricing diabetics out of the access to a spirit n mixer. The staff on the little buggies were flying around and not using indicators. Really annoying when crossing the many roads.”
“Lovely caravan park out in the countryside. Would like to stay here.. I came here to fit a satellite dish for a customer.”
“We LOVE Greenacres. We decided to come see Santa too, the elves were incredibly welcoming, gave us information about the animals and really made the experience special for our son. Santa was THE BEST! He was so engaging and made our little man laugh, had him chatting about toys. 100% the best place we'll always be lifelong visitors of Greenacres. Thanks for making our sons Christmas visit so special!”
“We had a brilliant pre christmas break. We staying in our campervan on a hot tub pitch and can't wait to return. The hot tub was really clean as were all the facilities. The reataurant/cafe was warm and food great. All staff were really friendly and helpful.”
“We love this place, close to the beach, great site with great, always immaculate facilities. The team are always friendly and helpful. My absolute go-to place.”
“Myself and my partner stayed here the middle of September 2025. We adore Wales and like to explore so only need a base as we’re out all day. I came across their ‘Saver’ caravans which are just basic caravans which is all we needed for somewhere to sleep and have breakfast in the morning. It was £49 for 4 nights which is the price of one night in a cheap B&B. I’ve been coming to North Wales for all my life and I’m in my 50s now so know the place pretty well , it’s my favourite place to be. However I’d never stayed at this particular site on Presthaven Beach Resort and to with a budget caravan I wasn’t sure what to expect. Well it was not a case of you get what you pay for, it was absolutely beautiful. Yea the caravan was basic but I don’t know if you could call it basic. It was clean, tidy and had everything you’d need. Cooker, fridge, microwave etc and there was even a little welcome package with two mugs set out with a spoon in each next to the kettle. Now that might not seem much to some but for me it’s those little touches that make all the difference. ( thank you guys and never stop doing this) I’ve stayed in a lot more expensive places and not got that. It was so easy to book and the staff were so efficient at check in. We had fresh pillows and a duvet delivered within minutes of arriving and then you’re just left to enjoy your holiday. The site is absolutely beautiful too and to be honest, I’d go back and probably stay on the site more. We’d already planned our days tracking the coasts and mountains but we were really impressed with how nice the actual site was. It was like a little community with all anyone would need. And to top it off, we were right next to the sand dunes and beach with a beautiful wetland between. Take a torch and see the wildlife at night, it was gorgeous. Our caravan was right near the mini market and all the amenities and we even had a view of the hills over the road which looked awesome at night with all the little lights on. We’re already planning on returning next year without a doubt. We still can’t believe we only paid £49 for 4 nights. It really shows that you sometimes get way more than you paid for. Possibly one of the best holidays I’ve had at any price but just shy of 50 quid, I mean come on, it doesn’t get much better than that. Such a beautiful place that I feel will now be our place we stay on our annual Welsh adventures. I can’t believe I’ve never stayed here before. I’d 100% recommend this place to anyone and there’s loads to do for families with kids but also it could be a relaxing holiday for those who just want to chill out. Thank you guys for an amazing four nights, I will never get over how cheap it was yet how beautiful the place is and the surrounding areas. A massive 10/10 from us and we will definitely be back next year. We’re so impressed.”
“We had a lovely 5 night stay at Netherwood. It was a very peaceful site. The warden was very friendly and welcomed us on arrival. The toilet facilities were clean with a good electric shower. The children enjoyed the wee park and tree swing. We enjoyed walking along the canal path in to Chester.”
“Absolutely beautiful stay, cannot fault! Owners lovely and friendly. We will be back! Tip - take extra logs to heat the hot tub.”
“Had Sunday lunch. We had the roast beef. Came with 4 veg, + roast and mash potatoes. Food was hot when arrived ***** stars. Staff friendly and efficient. Well done, will return”
“Stayed 24th November for a cheeky one night away,The site was the cleanest site we have ever been too, toilets and showers were spotless, the girlfriend was over the moon with the free hair dryer (easily pleased).Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit Southport,”
“Site up-to usual club standards and wardens helpful and polite. Location perfect for the designer shopping 15 minute walk away including a Sainsbury’s supermarket and several eating places. Not far from the canal boat museum, Anderton boat lift, Chester - use park and ride just 3 miles away, Port Sunlight garden centre, museum and art gallery and Blakemere Village just a few miles from the Anderton boat lift.”
“Good food, friendly staff, good prices. Everything you need from a cafe”
“Great overnight stay on the way to Scotland. Well maintained site with water at each pitch. Super views. Lovely animals, Highland cattle, sheep and two friendly Shetlands. Watched the skines of geese flying over here.”
“Very nice little campsite in a beautiful farm! Just few minutes from Chester”
