We had some truely memorable food at this lovely little restaurant. The service was also amazing with brilliant wine recommendations from the charming owner. It was also really reasonably priced given the quality of the food. We would highly recommend radiCibus if you are in Edinburgh.

Absolutely incredible Italian restaurant! The food is all made in-house and you can really taste the passion and quality in every dish. It feels like fine dining, but with a very original twist that makes it stand out from anywhere else in Edinburgh. The flavours are authentic yet creative, and everything is beautifully presented. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a real Italian experience with a unique touch!

The presentation of the food was excellent, the quaint ambience of the restaurant was lovely. My niece loved her entrees and main. I loved my entree but not my main as much. The wine was very good. I would just add white table cloths to the rustic tables and it would be perfect. The food was unique, well presented and flavorful.

Everything is alright but not stellar, so worth a try I guess since it's probably better than the average Italian place in Edinburgh Lobster was pretty good actl Pictured are starter portions, they're a little bit small for mains portion but it's actl almost enough if you're getting starters as well.

When walking into the restaurant it offers a nicely lit, modern scene. Beautiful warm lights poke through tasteful chandeliers from the ceiling and combine seamlessly with natural light creeping down from the ground floor above with cascading strays bouncing off the greenery of the garden outside. The food here was really special. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to for a while, offering a wide range of culinary options; seafood, meat and vegetarian all are all adequately touched on throughout the menu. I had the privilege of taking the wrapped veil first, which was a decedent start to a decedent meal. With rich cheese rolled inside the meat, and breadcrumbs and pistachio crumbled over the top, this was a textural masterpiece with accompanying flavours that are just as bold. The only thing to pick up on was the veil wasn’t quite as tender as I would have liked. My main of choice was the lobster pasta. This was a meal to remember. The plating had been of upmost importance to the chef and that was clear. Large tender lobster chunks were carefully placed on top and throughout the dish comprised of well spun ladles of linguini. The plate carried a dominant seafood note coming from the lobster bisque that had a small funky kick at the end of the palette from the pine nuts that kept me coming back for more. The dish was somewhat dry which worked well for me as it was clearly putting the lobster and pasta first. The pasta was past al dente which again complimented the dish well, a tougher texture might’ve taken away from the pine nuts. A fantastic plate of food here. The service was also fantastic as we were a big, difficult, table and the staff were completely accommodating. They brought out a cake for my auntie whose birthday it was and allowed us to derail the vibe of the place a little!

We were wandering past the restaurant on Saturday lunch time and the menu looked amazing. Popped back hoping to get a table. As we were about to give up, someone turned up for work and said they could squeeze us in at 1730 to 1915. The 7 course taster menu was really amazing. Service was attentive without smothering. Thoroughly recommend

We had 7 courses menu and was stunning, everything so tasty and the combination of the wines that Giovanni made was absolutely wholesome, highly recommended if you know how to appreciate food.

Amazing 7 course tasting menu for a special birthday. There are choices between 2 options for most courses. They were all absolutely delicious and slightly different but not crazy. Favourites were the boar lasagne and the squid which melted in your mouth. We need to look for another excuse to celebrate and return...

We had the 5 course tasting menu. They were flexible amd allowed us to switch a starter for a dessert. The food was lovely with the cocoa ravioli being my favourite. A bit of room for improvement - the squid dish was a bit chewy in texture, the music was a bit too loud and my friend's lamb was a bit too rare bit they did tale it back and cook it for longer. I would come back to this very pleasant neighbourhood restaurant that manages to combine flavours very well.
