   Absolutely delicious! We went down the road and there was a 1 hour & 50 min wait so we found this spot. They stayed is quickly and the room was filled with people eating all with smiles! My first taste of Bangers&Mash was out of this world! They allow you to change up flavors of the sausage as well as the potatoes. The potpie was home made and delicious. They had the cutest ketchup bottles to boot. This is a plane to go and enjoy!!@ the meals were hearty and there isn't 1 thing i would have changed

   We popped into Mum’s Comfort Food for breakfast and it was perfect! Delicious, hearty plates that tasted homemade and fresh. The staff were so friendly, fun, and helpful - they really made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. Such a great spot to start the day in Edinburgh!

   We had our lunch here just before flighting back home and what a highlight it was! If we ever will visit Edinburgh again, that's a place where we will return. As soon we stepped in we received the warmest welcome. If you want a delicious food and a reason to smile - this place is for you! My son got his special burger and traditional sausage was possibly the best sausage we ever had. Simply amazing stuff, food and place!

   Overall a great place, service was fast and friendly and the interior is super nice. The food was ok, good but nothing special or interesting. What’s great is that you can choose your own sausage and mash and gravy types! That was really nice :)

   I really had a great experience here! We tried the chicken pie and a beans&sausage casserole and both of them were amazing! I ordered the medium pie (you can choose from medium and large) but i still found it very fulfilling. I liked the place because it has the style of an old diner. We were given a table next to the kitchen where some of the waitresses were cleaning forks and knives so it was very noisy, but when we asked to be moved to a quieter table the waitress was super friendly and managed to give us a nicer spot! I'll definitely go back again!

   The customer service here is honestly the best I have ever received. My mum and I entered through the kitchen door by mistake and everyone immediately welcomed us in and sat us down. I was going to order a haggis main and a casserole but was recommended to have a haggis starter instead which was absolutely right because the portion was incredibly generous especially considering the affordable price. My mum and I are Chinese and we were offered the option to have hot water to suit our preference and custom which was so considerate. The food was amazing, too. Definitely 10/10 would recommend

   Scottish food at its best! Had an interesting and eye-opening mushroom Wellington with tasty layered pastry, as well as Haggis and Date Pudding! Main courses cost around 10-13 pounds. Only downside was the difficulty of getting a table (I encourage to make a reservation) and the slightly slow service. The sous/dessert chef was a very friendly chap!
