   One star Michelin resturant, located in old Edinburg. The location is very suggestive, warm and caratheristic. We tried 2 full tasting menu, 1 with vegetarian courses. Primary ingredients were excellent, some peculiar combination like the dessert but the food was very good at all. The vegetarian option was great. Maybe the full menu is overfill, because at the end you are very full and don’t have any space left for the last courses. The staff was friendly and kind. The bill was a little bit too high for a menu without wine.

   An exquisite experience. Every dish was stellar. The wine was excellent. The service was superb. The space is beautiful. The vibe is peaceful. Loved this place. We had the three course set menu for lunch with a few add-ons but I wish we’d just gone for the tasting menu. It’s a highly deserved Michelin and I highly recommend it.

   We had a fantastic meal here, the mushroom dish was a particular standout. All of the staff were lovely and very attentive. They have a fully vegetarian option and allow you to pick between both menus which is a nice touch. Highly recommend

   A really nice place, a kind of stylish but also rustic. And the food is really delicious, the lunch menu allows a selection of various options. Especiallly the starter (lion‘s mane) and the dessert made me happy. A really nice fine dining option in Edinburgh.

   First time at Timberyard, we'd heard a lot about the place and it far exceeded our expectations. Everything was flawless, the food was out of this world. So many flavours and amazingly fresh and beautifully presented. A very special lunch out to celebrate our wedding from May. We will definitely be back. Can't rate Timeryard highly enough, just stunning!

   Had an amazing special occasion dinner including the paired softdrinks. The experience was great and service on point. Food was so good with interesting seasonal combinations. One small negative point, most of the staff are very soft spoken and the music on the loud side so could only hear part of the explanation for each dish.

   If your a foodie and love fresh and flavorful dishes with beautiful presentation this is your place. We did the four course and it was plenty of food but if your on the hungrier side opt for the seven. Great wine and friendly staff.

   Food was really very good, but not worth what it cost. We had the 4 course menu and one alcoholic drink each and it was £180. Saying portions were small is an understatement, one third of the starter was one eighth of a slice of carrot, a tiny ikea-pencil sized slither of cured trout, and half a slice of pickle. The staff were incredibly attentive and nice. We had a voucher so that took the price down to just £40 for both of us which was far more reasonable - I'd recommend it if you can afford it, are a huge foodie, or have a voucher

   Scallop was amazing. Best scallop dishes ever.! But other menus were wee disappointed. There are more better taste and cost-efficient restaurants in Edinburgh. Parts of this restaurant may be not worth.
