Despite confirming online availability, the shoes weren’t displayed. When I asked an assistant about stock, she instantly claimed Schuh "as a company" didn’t carry them. After I noted they *were* listed online, she reluctantly checked the system and admitted they were available—but only at your St James Quarter store. She showed no initiative to assist further, forcing me to explicitly ask her to check for the black/white colorway (also available elsewhere). Her disinterest and lack of product knowledge were evident. Meanwhile, other staff were chatting instead of engaging customers. Due to this poor service, I left without exploring alternative options in-store. I purchased trainers elsewhere (£140 at Flannels) after also trying JD Sports—where staff were attentive despite being busy. This experience mirrors other reviews criticizing your staff’s apathy. As a legal professional, I find this service standard unacceptable. You lost a confirmed sale through avoidable negligence. I will escalate this to your CEO.
I was in the kids schuh today, one of the sales girls answered very rudely and impolitely, my request to clarify the availability of the size was rudely cut off... I am extremely disappointed with the service. Please pay attention to the work of the staff
Was planning to leave a review on the NPS we QR code survey that I need my receipt number for however realised when I left I gave the woman the wrong email address. Service was great was greeted as soon as I entered by a sales person, think her name was Farry. She was so helpful I assumed she must have been working on commission, but no, just genuinely cares about people’s experience which was refreshing. As someone who works in customer service themself, couldn’t ask for more.
