The place is falling apart, the floor is uneven and broken in places, they've patched it up but it's made it worse. The range of products is pitiful in comparison to other Range stores, even though it's twice the size of some of them. It's dirty and lots of products on the shelves have clearly been there for years because of the thick layer of dust on top of some of them. I was going to buy someone wool as a gift but it all felt and smelt damp. The Iceland area is just as bad, it looked dirty which is not what you want from a place selling food. The queuing system was also bad, there's so many ways you can make a queuing system and they chose the most awkward.

The variety is nice but the electronics are a waste of time and money. Bought a heater and trips my electrical protection everytime. Bought recently an alarm clock for 25 quid and had to set the date and alarm every day. Tried several USB chargers with much more power than needed and still would reset everytime. To home decorarions, ok, but avoid any electrical or electronics. You get far better quality buying from temu at the 10% of the proxe.

I ordered some toys on Tuesday, 25th November (it was evening time, about 6 or 7 pm). My partner is [was] intending to take them to our grandchildren in Newcastle today (Friday, 28th) at 3pm. The website states that orders can normally be picked up within 60 minutes and orders after closing time by 11.00am the next day, so everything seemed fine. I duly received an email on Wednesday morning to say the order had been processed but not to head (sic) to the store until I get a confirmation text. As it's now the third working day I was getting concerned that I perhaps missed the confirmation text so I called the store. The call was answered by a very polite and as helpful (as she could be under the circumstances) young lady who took the order number and put me on hold to check. A young man (again polite and helpful) returned to me to tell me that the order wasn't in store and basically (and I appreciate his honesty) that he wasn't sure when it would be available. Why doesn't the website say "maybe two days, maybe three, actually we're not sure" rather than "by 11.00am the next working day"? Yes, it does say "possibly up to two working days when busy" (but we're outwith that now so this statement is irrelevant) It's also very unfair that your frontline staff (who are working hard to process the orders and frankly, can do without the likes of me hassling them about matters beyond their control) have to take the complaint calls. Now (well, at 14 30, 30 minutes before my partner is due to leave for Newcastle) I get an email from the range saying they've had to cancel my order and would process a refund (which will be in my account within 3-5 working days, too bad if I'm relying on that money to buy alternative gifts). I cannot believe how bad this service is. The items concerned were in stock at a Range store ten miles away but I went into the local one where they were out of stock (but apparently I could click and collect and get them the next morning). If they had said "well we can't guarantee you'll get them the next day, in fact we can't guarantee you'll get them at all" I would have made the journey to the Drumchapel store. I'm looking after my grandchildren this weekend and so can't even go there to check whether the items are in stock there. Ive just looked back at email from the Range on Wednesday morning. It starts off "Success" clearly not.

Went before closing time as advertised on their website however the shutters were down and nobody was allowed in the store. According to the website at that point the store was meant to be open for another hour and seventeen minutes. I had went out my way to visit the store as had been told they had some good products.

Since not visiting here for a while, was slightly disappointed at the layout of aisles and the lack of staff on tills. Still a wide range of offerings, but items seemed to be all over the shop and not easy to find. At 6pm, only two staff on tills whilst the que was very long and with frozen goods to pay for, not ideal to wait 15 mins to be served. It still offers great items and prices, just harder now to navigate and be served.

Easily accessible by wheelchair, although the ailes were sometimes blocked by staff stocking up the shelves. There was room for customers to get past, but not if you are in a wheelchair. Great disabled toilet facilities, but they are not very well signposted and staff had to move stuff out of the way before I could use them. The wee café was cheery, with a good selection of cakes and staff were friendly.

Easy parking due to its huge car park and no waiting around to obtain a trolley. Access was quick with no ques or hanging around. The store was very busy and staff were also busy stocking the shelves but at no time did it delay or hinder your shopping experience. Plenty to choose from and the prices are very competitive. At the check out there were people waiting to be served but an announcement over the tannoy quickly brought extra staff to solve that issue .

What a delight to shop here. Bright clean and well laid out store. Outside easy and well laid out parking, with disabled spaces nearby. One small moan, yet again a store that uses temporary aisle end bins to promote certain items. Here they are placed in the entry to some aisles with art craft and card making equipment. This unnecessary practice makes it very difficult for wheelchair customers. The store regains it’s star by having a beautiful coffee shop and with gluten free cake. Perfect.
