Darren the manager is a horrible guy, nasty to staff, forcing people in to debt by forcing frasers plus. Clearly his nose is out of joint because he ended up full time in that hole.

Manager is horrible and doesn't know consumer rights laws. Happy to leave mispriced items out to confuse customers and cause agro for the standard counter staff. Not sure why they have multiple giant signs telling you GAME is upstairs when its not. Waste of time

Went in on a Saturday with my son whos 10 looking to buy him a pair off football boots he was really excited to pick a pair after waiting about for 30 minutes for someone to see us the shop wasn't that busy I was unfortunate to get the overweight guy with a beard probably the worst sales man ive ever met bad attitude clearly wasn't interested in his job it felt like i was a massive inconvenience for him trying to get help selecting the correct size of boot for my son id rather not spend money with sub standard service I decided to go to Tillicoultry to the Nike shop and the service was amazing safe to say I will not be back at sports direct 1 star to much

One member of staff was lovely and helpful. She helped me try on women's shoes and after realising I wasn't finding anything that fit right and served the purpose I headed to the men's section. I asked the men there for help. They were so busy chatting that they were clearly not interested in helping. I explained I wanted shoes for netball and was hoping to checkout other sport specific shoes. They just asked my size and sent me to the kids section. No consultation about the needs etc. not at all appropriate or helpful.

Just out, bought a pair of trainers for my daughter at just under £60. Walked in and 3 employees are standing talking.. not even a hello.. then when I picked the trainers, there was no one around, lady at the till couldn’t have been more bland, got the trainers tho :)

Absolutely rubbish store and business as a whole, avoid at all cost as no refunds as original payment method if anything is wrong with your purchase. Utterly disgusting and no customer service for any issues. Avoid and save your money!!!

Who knew that Sports Direct return policy was as shambolic as it is. When trying to return an item of clothing I was informed that only an exchange would be offered and not a return. ALL other retailers offer this level of service. As far as service goes Sports Direct have none. The manager also had a very bad attitude and refused to give her name or her area managers name. Also it seems that the companies policy is to treat in store customers differently from online customers. It is fair to say I will never be shopping at Sports Direct again and would urge caution for anyone looking to purchase a gift for someone thinking that if it is not right they will be able to return it. This is not the case. Terrible company with terrible values.

Ordered two pairs of shoes, both were a size too small. Declined paid return postage, declined cash refund instore, had to return them at my own expense. No phone number to get in touch with anyone and the corporate staff I was in touch with via email were appalling.
