Breakfast was an absolute delight, starting with the Eggs Royale β€” perfectly poached eggs, rich and silky, paired beautifully with delicate smoked salmon and a luscious hollandaise that balanced indulgence and freshness in every bite. The Turkish eggs were just as memorable: warm, garlicky yogurt, gently spiced butter, and flawlessly cooked eggs created a comforting yet exciting harmony of flavors. Each dish felt thoughtfully prepared, generous, and deeply satisfying. The textures were spot on, from the softness of the eggs to the vibrant sauces that brought everything together. A special thank you to Miryam, whose warm smile and attentive service made the experience even more enjoyable. She was welcoming, professional, and genuinely caring throughout our visit. This breakfast felt less like a meal and more like a treat. A wonderful start to the day, made unforgettable by great food and even greater service.

Micheal our waiter was so friendly and welcoming. Food also didn't disappoint! The other staff also were helpful as we were dragging our luggage and they have a spot for you. Eggs Benedict was perfect, also great flatwite! Make sure you don't miss on the STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING!

I had a great experience at Society Kitchen. I ordered the Eggs Royale and the Mediterranean Breakfast, and both dishes were absolutely delicious. The food was fresh, full of flavor, and the portions were very generous. The service was fast and excellent, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Michael, was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our meal. I would definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again.

We truly enjoyed our dinner at The Society! Our server, Bee, was absolutely wonderful as she is warm, professional, and attentive. She made us feel so welcome and even took the time to ask about my food allergies, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our evening. Everything we ordered was exceptional: the beer was refreshing, the Margherita Pizza was marvelous, the Steak with Chimichurri sauce was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor, and the Miso Aubergine was tender and rich. We ended the meal with the Toffee Pudding and it was absolutely delicious! Every dish was a highlight, and the service made it all the more memorable. Hands down, the best dinner we’ve had in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Society. Despite how busy it was (a testament to its popularity), everything from the food to the service exceeded expectations. Location & Atmosphere: The restaurant is in a prime location with classic views of the city. We were lucky enough to get a window seat β€” the perfect spot to enjoy brunch while soaking in the scenery. Food & Drinks: We ordered The Highlander (salmon, poached eggs, and cottage cheese on toast), and it was fresh, well-balanced, and delicious. The shakshuka was vibrant, flavorful, and had just the right amount of spice. The oat milk latte was smooth and creamy, and the coffee itself was strong and rich, exactly what you'd hope for in a good brunch. Service: The staff were warm and attentive, despite the busy atmosphere. A special shoutout to Lara, who went above and beyond to help us β€” she was kind, accommodating, and made us feel really welcome. Things to Note: There is a one-hour time limit per table, so keep that in mind when planning your visit. That said, the experience is absolutely worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a memorable brunch in Edinburgh with great food, top-notch service, and unbeatable views.

Friendly welcoming staff, we were seated immediately on a Sunday during brunch, the place was very clean and bright and buzzing, the drinks were nice, the Turkish eggs were a little disappointing because the eggs were over cooked but they gave us replacement eggs swiftly once we notified them! Top tier service! You can’t beat the location since you get a great view and it’s pretty central!

Fantastic place for foodies. Had breakfast here. Avocado toast with dukkah, chilli oil (and I added egg and feta) really hit the spot. A perfect combination of flavours and quality. Turkish eggs was refreshing and delicious. Drinks also perfect- a great coffee! Not always easy to find. Easy online booking system, was able to book an hour prior to breakfast. Excellent friendly service. If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Exceptional food and service. Great vibe in this restaurant with very friendly staff who enjoy their work and this can be experienced in the very positive atmosphere in the place. Great for brunch or lunch with a glass of wine! A must in Edinburgh.

Location is fabulous! Enjoyed tea & breakfast at the nook window. The view and atmosphere as I did some Scottish ancestry digging & journaling allowed me to take it all in! Been to lots of cafes, but this is one I'll remember!
