   Dined here for the first time a week or so back and was so pleasantly surprised that we booked a table for the family for fathers day. Today was a fantastic experience. We were seated very quickly and served drinks straight away. Sophie and the other ladies made sure we had everything we needed. They were all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Food, once again was incredible so hats off to the chef. A gem of a place for many reasons. Will definitely return.

   We arrived without a booking and the staff were very accommodating, despite being busy. The welcome and service were excellent. We had a toddler with us and one of the party is coeliac, so required a gluten free menu. It was reassuring to see that staff understood and catered well for customers with food allergies. We all enjoyed our meals. The puddings were delicious. If you are looking to dine out with the family, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with decent pub food, then this is your place. Would definitely recommend.

   Popped here with friends , had the Christmas fayre, although Wasn't offered crackers, as in ones that go on the table. food was good but had to wait a long time for all the courses, staff very friendly.

   My husbands steak was cold as were the chips. The waitress was more than happy to get it sorted, yet the food was returned back to us within 2 minutes (chips still cold) and was told 'if the steak isn't warm enough it's because its medium rare' since when does how you have your steak is cooked affect the overall temperature? Another member of our party had chicken missing from the mixed grill too.

   I wish I could have given no stars for service.! Starters came out fairly quickly. One was wrong, and there was a good delay to wait for the right item. As we were 3 friends we were chatting and hadn't noticed the time. We had finished our starters 1.5 hrs ago. We went to find out where the mains were, only to be told we should have told them when we were ready for the mains! Not once did a member of staff ask if everything was OK. The mains came out. Staff didn't apologise for the delay. Just dropped the mains on the table. Didn't ask who was who's. We had to quickly move the plates from the starters out the way. They were never moved from our table. We all had chips with our orders. The potions were very variable. In fact, one plate had exactly 12 chips on it. We tried to ask a member of staff, but was told that was the right potion, even though it was obvious they were all different. Needless to say, we didn't stay for desserts. I do want to say my steak was very nice and exactly as I had ordered it. I have eaten here many times, and never met with this service.

   Very pleasant meal. Went as a group adults and children. 8 in total everyone was very pleased with the food. Staff were friendly and helpful. All meals arrived at the same time and all pudding. Drinks are reasonably priced. Nice family pub/restaurant.

   We popped in for a coffee and a dessert. Nice and clean. Hand sanitisers when you walk in. Staff are friendly and service was good. They serve Costa coffee and the dessert was lovely. I'd recommend a visit.

   Booked table for 7.30pm and was seated on time, waited 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken, another 15 minutes went by so had to find a waitress to order food. Food arrived 8.45! (Restaurant was NOT busy nor understaffed) I ordered rump of lamb which comes with steamed broccoli that I wouldn't feed to my dog!! The broccoli was yellow! So asked for different veg, you can see from the photo the replacement broccoli is how it should be!! I cant believe a chef would even contemplate sending food out like that? Our waitress was not attentive at all!Then one of the desserts had to be sent back as it was cold! We finally left the restaurant at 9.50pm!
