Called in for something to eat..We both choose sirloin steaks with all the trimmings..Steaks cooked to perfection in fact the whole meal was lovely. Wonderful staff..very attentive.worth a visit.
Got a table at short notice with the help of Shane. Under new ownership - they are planning to do a new shorter venue, and more freshly cooked pub food. Sounds like its going to get some good improvements soon. One of our favourite places to visit.
Came here twice over a week- once for lunch, once for dinner. Fantastic location right on the water of the canal, you can see all the boats in the marina. Only a short walk from Bradford on Avon and definitely worth it. Large outdoor drinking/ dining spaces with great views. Large modern interior with an upstairs. Hold lots of events in summer. Lunch ciabattas were yummy (particularly the chicken Caesar one) and good portion sizes. Dinner options were also good (particularly the sausage and mash). Great drink options and brilliant friendly and helpful service. Only thing that was a slight let down was that on both occasions there were quite a few items not available on the menu, however this didn’t stop anyone on our table of 11 from finding something they wanted and enjoyed. Beautifully located and tastefully decorated, the boathouse is located right next to the Bradford on Avon marina and has plenty of parking. We had an absolutely lovely Sunday roast which was beautifully presented, more than I could eat, tasted delicious and was served by some wonderfully friendly, smiling, attentive staff. All in all a perfect day. My thanks to everyone involved.

We hired the function room upstairs for a sit down meal and evening party for a small wedding reception. The staff were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Very accomodating, friendly, helpful and they worked their socks off ensuring everyone got their meals quickly and efficiently. No glasses were left on tables for more than a few minutes before they had cleared them away with a smile. What an absolutely great team service, an asset to The Boathouse and we can't thank them enough for making our day all the more special. Now for the food.....in a word....EXQUISITE! We were blown away by the quality and skill of the chef's who masterfully put together 30, 3 course meals for us and our guests from the function menu. The menu itself catered for all and having someone needing gluten free and vegan options, it didn't disappoint. Shame we didn't get to personally thank the kitchen staff, so I hope our comments of appreciation are passed on. The evening buffet selections are great, shame there was so much left overs after a few no-shows for evening party, but again fantastic quality. From all of our friends and family and a very grateful bride and Groom, Thank you for making what could've been a stressful day a memorable and magical one! :0)
Service was quick, the staff very polite and we loved looking out at the boats. The food was absolutely delicious, we will go back but maybe in the evening because it is mainly main meals on offer. As they are serving food nearly all day I cannot mark them down, other establishments have an early afternoon cut off. I did remember to take snaps of out food and must admit I wish I had chosen the same dessert as himself it was absolutely delightful.
Spacious restaurant with outside seating too. Friendly staff. Wide variety of food, above the normal pub fare. Good portions. We liked it.
