Perfect place to stay for a city break. Rooms are basic but warm and comfortable. Free use of a shared kitchen is genius. Short walk to all attractions. Great VFM would stay here again

The hotel room was far too small for a couple. The room was advertised as a small double however the bed was a 3/4 bed at most. For two adults one of us was either squished against the wall or one of us was practically falling out of the bed. I have since looked at some of the other comments where the hotel classes the bed as a ‘UK Queen’ however this is not a bed size. In the UK the bed sizes are single, 3/4, double, king. This bed was a 3/4! If you are taller than 5’5 be prepared to either have to sleep in the foetal position or with your feet sticking out the bed on a shelf. Had this been made clear we wouldn’t have booked. There was mould on the ceiling which given I have asthma and am sensitive to mould was highly unacceptable. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work so the bathroom was very damp after having a shower and smelt a lot due to the air not being able to circulate. The pillows were one extreme or the other. The ones on the bed when we got there felt like bro k they were so hard and were far too big whereas the extra pillows provided were so flat and caused us both to have sore necks. We were also disappointed with the staff as when we arrived they didn’t stand up to great is and told us we were on a different floor to what we were. The hotel as a whole was a glorified hostel and is only really suitable if you’re on a night out and not bothered where you sleep or if you are travelling. As a couple on a weekend away this was completely unsuitable and we ended up checking out early and booking another hotel to ensure we had a decent night sleep and our trip wasn’t ruined.

Although the majority of our stay was lovely there was a few issues I'd like to highlight. {I have spoken to the hotel and they have offered us a free night stay at any location} CELEBRATION PACKAGE I paid an extra £45 for the celebrations package for my daughter, the card itself was signed from the hotel, taking away some of the magic for her as it should have just said happy birthday not from the Warren collection, the cost itself for what we received was a Bismil. I have attached a picture however this definitely was not Money well spent. 2x cans of cola X1 box of chocolates X1 balloon X1 banner X1 card I have stayed with other hotels who provide the same service with much better quality. CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST The continental breakfast also needs improvement; we went down around 08:45 to both kitchens mentioned on check in and there was little to nothing available other than cereal, having the returned (with a very hungry child) we saw one kitchen being restocked with Tesco value items. The quality of the cold meat selection was the cheapest option from Tesco and not very pleasant at all. Again, the quality was very poor. However our second morning was better as we went down after 9am but the quality was still the same issue, especially the meat. BEDROOM The bedroom it's was very lovely, however the smell from the bathroom was unbearable to the point I had to use my body spray to try and mask the smell. The smell coming up from the shower drain, sink and toilet can only be described as Portaloo at a festival. This would happen as soon as the toilet was flushed. The smell was disgusting. The shower also didn't drain very well which meant we had too constantly stop the shower.

Amazing location- The bus from the Airport stops very close by. Is in walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The room was nice with towels, shower gel, tea and coffee provided. The breakfast was basic but nice. Bed was a little bit small for 2 people and the shared Kitchen (for breakfast) only had 6 seats so there wasn't room for us to sit in there. Quite noisy from outside and the rooms were really warm. Overall I would definitely stay here again as the location is perfect

The hotel is in a great location, and the staff are lovely and helpful! However, I experienced a couple of issues during my stay. First, there isn’t a secure bag room, which means anyone can access it and potentially take your belongings. Secondly, the blind in the bathroom did not cover the entire window, making it possible for people on the main street to see in. I had to resort to using a towel to cover the gap, as shown in the photos. This was quite disappointing and is a significant design flaw.

Hotel in a good location for transport, the bus from the airport dropped off just across the road. Rooms are pleasant enough, but mine was definitely not a queen as advertised. No bedside table or lamp, plug sockets hidden under the desk and hard to find, no towel rail so you end up leaving towels in a lump on the side... all minor things of course, but annoying when most hotels get these basics right. Super friendly staff though.

Location is great super central feels very safe. Staff are really lovely and helpful. My only real issue was the beds are really small for a double. Fairly priced though

We stayed here for one night. There wasn't hot water in the room, it was freezing cold. The intercom in the room wasn't working and there was nobody at the reception desk early in the morning (when we tried, again, to take a shower). The room smells a bit musty so we had to keep the windows open, even though it was very cold outside. The breakfast is very poor and there's only one table inside. We payed more than 200, totally not worth it, and they're not answering my messages.

Nice hotel in cathedral quarter. Great for tourists as you're right by a bunch of good pubs. Clean rooms and friendly staff. They also have luggage storage if you need to drop bags off early or leave for a few hours after you check out. Would definitely stay here again. Nice convenience store right next door, and a great cafe one more door down.
