Oh where do you start with this place, it's a joke and everyone one at the surgery down the road thinks so too. They will spend days fobbing you off before you get your prescription. But sometimes if you are really lucky you won't get your medication at all as we get to hear all the excuses under the sun about computers, WiFi and we can't forget the spine of course. Sooner this place closes and let's another competitor in, the better!

Absolutely hopeless. Despite waking in with an obvious eye infection. Pharmacist would not provide the required medication. A complete waste of time.

Very rude pharmacy lady, a bit older, short and wears the pharmacist uniform. I hate that I donβt have her name. Very foul mouthed and disgusting behaviour. Boots you should do something about this.

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to use. Hung up the phone on me, that's even if they pick up. Never have prescriptions ready, even after days of waiting and will make you wait in the shop to even be acknowledged. Every time my prescriptions get sent here by accident it takes me several days to get them.

Staff are less than helpful. Asked about a product - was told none in stock and if had been in stock wouldn't be what I wanted anyway. The level of arrogance from the staff really does Boots proud!

Had run out of meds as needed a GP review before could order repeats which meant I was later ordering & I ended up running out . Was informed that Boots normal turnaround for a prescription is 7 working days ( not including weekends) which, given that you can only order repeats 1 week in advance including weekends, it does mean that each month (even without having to have a last minute GP review) people are without meds for several days each month !!! Either Boots need to shorten their turnaround time or the Doctors need to enable ordering earlier to compensate to bridge that gap and prevent patients being without !! Perhaps Boots need to speak to the surgery to work out a compatible turnaround time on both sides to prevent that gap β¦ some patients have to take meds that should not be missed!! Having said thatβ¦.. and on a positive note, I called Boots today, explained about the GP review delaying my order and M very kindly arranged for our order to be sorted in time for hubby to collect before he had to go to work this afternoon. Thank you very much for your help today β¦. :-)

Edit Feb 22, boots are getting worse, have had to take yet another star off. Long queue, can see several staff behind the counter but they are not serving customers, they do seem to be having a good chat from what I can hear. And they just don't seem to care. I'm sure boots must have some good staff somewhere, they just never seem to be at the Kegworth branch when I go in. 10 mins I've been waiting and they have yet to serve 1 person. Today I found the staff to be quite unhelpful and the service was very slow. If there was anywhere else in Kegworth to collect a prescription I would use them. I therefore didn't buy anything what in Boots and went to CO-OP instead.

Used to be a nice Boots but now the staff are not very helpful and rather rude. Just because they're the only pharmacy in the village, they're a law unto themselves. Shame. Especially when we're in more of a need for advice in these current times.
