I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable behaviour of a staff member at your store yesterday morning (Thursday). My child entered the fitting room to try on a jumper and briefly opened the door to show me and ask for my opinion. At that moment, a female employee (wearing glasses) approached us in a very rude manner. She did not greet us, did not say “excuse me,” and spoke to us in a raised, aggressive tone, repeatedly asking if we had “anything else in the fitting room.” My child was confused and intimidated by her behaviour. When I asked the employee what the issue was, she continued speaking rudely and insisted we should not close the fitting room. Her tone and attitude were completely inappropriate. Because of this incident, we decided not to purchase the jumper, even though we liked it. When my child returned it, the same employee again raised her voice at us, asking if we were going to buy it, and then stared at us in a very unpleasant, suspicious way — as if we had done something wrong. This behaviour is unacceptable. We left the store feeling upset, and our overall impression of the store is extremely negative. I will not be returning, nor will I recommend this location to others. I kindly ask that you review this incident and address this behaviour with your staff. Customers expect politeness and professionalism, not rudeness and hostility.

Currently stood outside in the freezing cold with two kids 5 minutes after the place was meant to be open while the staff are all stood down by the tills having a nice chat. No apology when they finally opened the door. Also a sports shop with zero football boots on display?! But they have them upstairs in storage apparently.

I popped to JD Rushden Lakes today ! I’m an avid Adidas fan , not impressed on there Adidas clothing side very poor for men they need to liaise with there sales designer team better sales and easy hit targets . On display 3 short models 2 track models with hoodies 2 colours only on each . Not impressed.

First time shopping in Jd for over 15 years and today being the worst. They need more adults working on their respectfully and making sure they are seeing to paying customers properly. I bought an item of clothing paid for a bag was not govern one so checked my reciept to see if I was charged and I was. Had to ask someone for a bag because the que was ridiculous. I also had two collections from the store and I was with my young child. Was left waiting extremely long . Then when I asked someone can they go and check what the delay is . They said I had to wait as they were seeing to someone. When they finally went to check my collection they come back minutes later with my order. I wasn’t pleased. Literally staff member standing by the door doing nothing. Staff all over the shop and yet hardly anyone to help with the tills. The fact that they all seem to be very young feels like the reason they don’t respect people that are waiting for very long periods. Was not happy as a quick visit too an hour

Ordered some trainers in the sale online. Had them delivered to the Rushden Lakes store. Took about 5 days to arrive but hassle free when went to collect.

It's already suffering on account if its geographical position- smack bang in the middle of the worst devised traffic system in the area (possibly the world, I haven't checked. To be honest, the traffic situation at rushden lakes makes me sad so I try not to think about it). Added to that, it is a JD Sports, so not exactly my home turf. Queues are long, not necessarily because it is busy, more just to till based incompetence TLDR- it's a nightmare to drive to, uncomfortable to shop in and annoying to queue in

Hello my name is luke herdman the date is the 28th 6.30 pm I've travelled all the way from Northampton to just simply change for a different size bottoms as I bought them in Northampton but they are now shut the blonde hair manager was so rude to me because I asked to use the changing room to try my items ? I said the shop is not busy you have 4 changing facilities locked? She said yes were using it for storage! I am disabled and have travelled far to come here and then she said I can change in front of everyone if I like humiliating a disabled person ! She also was laughing amongst her friends who work there! Absolutely the worst experience of my life I'm now taking this to the local paper

Lots of staff in the store when I went with over 50% of them doing nothing despite massive queues. Fully expect to see shops busier at this time of year but also would expect that staff actually help each other to make sure they are not 2 or 3 people carrying the whole store
