Reluctant to give one star.only way can review. Was told by staff Was ok to park in disabled onsite parking but no instruction on parking charge . Was hit with £60 FINE .. miss leading wont use hotel again very angry. Was heavily raining on entry had two old dogs with me. Staff need to make customers aware . Having looked at reviews seems a common occurrence

Rooms are in need of TLC on recent stay the room wasn’t very clean the bathroom in particular, shower curtain smelt awful needs replacing! Comfortable sleep fairly quiet. Location is the centre of hull so parking isn’t the best if car park is full also TVs could do with being updated very old and small.

Stayed here for a single mid-weeknight as part of a spontaneous trip. Booked online and was offered an upgrade to a premium room for (I think) £10 extra. On arrival the staff were friendly helpful and chatty without being onerous. Keycard obtained I was left to it - just as I like. The hotel is on a busy junction and I was allocated a front of the building room, with the window open the traffic noise, even on the 4th floor was noticeable especially as the road seems to be a main blue light run to the local hospital for ambulances. With the window shut the noise was all but abated, but the sirens were still very noticeable. The room was to the usual Travelodge standard, basic and clean. Comfortable bed and clean towels. I would have perhaps preferred more desk space and some space to stack clothes. I really didn't see the value in the premium room, basically it was a Nespresso type coffee machine in the room. I wouldn't spend the extra on that again.

Noise!!! Over looking a main road arrived 10pm on a mon night the road noise is horrendous in the room (windows shut). Worst night sleep i have ever had at a hotel. Staff were great!!! unfortunately no available non road rooms available. (wonder why) Breakfast was decent for what it is, very clean place with lovely staff however shocking sound proofing. Parking was easy two main places next to it cost me £1.80 to park for 12 hours

First time stopping at this hotel, Ive stopped in lots of Travelodges over the years, this one is quite dated as regards the room. The carpet was clean, décor was fine but it didn't have any mains sockets near the bed or USB charging points. There was only 2 mains sockets in the room which is quite rare for Travelodge these days. The TV was a small one. It had two chairs. It had a shower cubical rather than a bath. Overall the room was nice and clean. The location of the hotel is very good for arriving by train, just a short walk to the station. One notable thing was that the hotel room door was super slow at closing which meant that it didn't slam shut, Wish all hotels had doors like this. I would recommend this hotel, I chose a room at the back as I wanted a quiet room, I can imagine if you were on the rooms at the front then it would be noisy due to it being on the main road. Just outside the hotel are some lovely well maintained flower beds.

Great location for shopping and passing through The building is modern and clean we had a room overlooking the busy road but didn’t get disturbed by the noise Breakfast is from 8 so not good if you want to leave early Parking is very close but 3.50 overnight

Nothing spectacular, the general travel lodge. Rooms tidy and kept, never tried the food, but it did look and smell good. Staff at the front desk friendly and helpful.

Do not recommend this Travelodge: bedroom window does not close - traffic noise from main dual carriageway 24/7; filthy stained bedroom carpet; TV does not work; no WiFi; bathroom door broken; bathroom mirror rusted at the top; shower goes from hot to cold when you are in it. Car park costs £3.80 per day. There is nothing to commend here.
