βThe COSCA Counselling Skills course was an excellent course. It was delivered by highly skilled and knowledgeable trainers in a way that was relaxed and encouraged learning. I would encourage anyone who works with people and wants to improve their listening skills and self-awareness to attend this course.β
βAfter a disc disintegrated in my spine, I had physio for 2 years in an effort to cope with the resulting back problems and pain. My back surgeon agreed on pilates as an alternative to surgery and I have attended pilates with Kira Bowie for more than ten years now. Quite frankly, she is the best teacher I have ever met, and I have attended lots of yoga and keep fit classes in several countries over the years, where the teachers were physiotherapists and even a ballerina in one country. Kira pays attention to every person's physical problem (attendees are a walking A & E dep't), provides a modification to exercises to suit the individual even in the group classes and checks how everyone is feeling at the start of the class. She increases the level of difficulty constantly and I now the strongest I have been for several years. She teaches remedial pilates, class size is limited and I cannot recommend her more highly. There is probably a waiting list to join her classes.β
