“This is a lovely venue, with a warm welcome and a personal touch for people hiring the space. It's a testament to the spirit of local people that this historic building is not only still standing, but has been recently upgraded into a very flexible space with a small but well stocked kitchen, computers, wifi projectors and screen and many other amenities. It's a great resource for the local community and those from further afield. Highly recommended.”

“On 2/06/25 I was admitted to ward 12 Stracathro for a total hip replacement. Fr the moment I was admitted until I was discharged on the evening of the 3/06/25 ALL the staff, nurses, OT/PT staff, surgeons, anaesthetists were absolutely fantastic. They couldn’t do enough for you explaining everything as they went so you fully understood what was to happen and putting you at your ease and after the op from the surgeons, post op staff on down they came to see you were all right and answer any questions. A special mention must also go to day /night ward staff who continually went above and beyond and catered for your every need. Even the food was excellent. I can’t thank you all enough for making a stressful situation tolerable”

“Recently had to change dentist as I got offloaded from the Bupa practice in Mintlaw (they can't seem to hold onto a dentist longer than 6 months) and they deregistered me. Very, very, fortunately I was able to be taken on as a NHS Patient at Union Street Dental Care. The staff are amazing, the dentist I've seen a few times now (Ms Mcallen) is superb, a very talented dentist who has a professional and friendly manner. You're kept updated with costs and the receptionist was really helpful in making sure I had the receipts I needed to claim back on my insurance. Couldn't be happier with them and couldn't recommend them any more highly.”
