“Stayed for 1 night as we took a drive along the coast Room was very clean and the mini bar was stocked. Comfy beds and nice bathroom. We had our wiener dog with us so he was given some water and attention from the friendly staff, we even stuck his bed under the table. Good to see some old school locals having a wee pint and chit chat at the bar, rarely get to see this now without folk staring at their phones all night. Food at the bar was superb, haggis neeps and tatties lovely, also mac n cheese and other bits and bobs. Great big car park Overall a great hotel which is well kept and not far from the beach etc Only point to add would be the room doors bang quite hard and you can hear every single one each time they close, I will bring my ear plugs on my next visit.”

“Food good , pizza dough sensational :) Caesar salad good but I had the impression that the chicken was ready bought in slices , too much sauce and average quality cheese. Appearance of the place is quite nice, but the staff is very nice smiling and wants to order :)”

“Great festive menu and good value for money. Portions were large! I had the festive burger with pulled pork it was divine. Theres lots of seating though id reccomend booking as can get busy!. We are always well looked after when we go for food or drinks. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Would highly reccomend eating and drinking here.”

“We had such a beautiful dinner! Everything tasted incredible, the quality of food and drink was fantastic and all staff were lovely. It’s such a shame in the Aberdeen scene right now. Restaurants like this should be thriving but there was only one other table while we were in. We made no request for anything special as it was my 21st birthday, but still the staff brought out a cake with a candle and sang happy birthday to me. This completely surprised our whole table and was honestly such a lovely gesture. I really hope to be back soon.”

“This is the first time we have been to Vovem since their re-opening recently. Their team is solid, from host to bar to service, we had a wonderful experience. Servers are knowledgeable and well-spoken. We were sat near the kitchen which was nice to observe, but perhaps a little loud due to traffic of servers walking by, that did not affect the experience. Food was good and well-priced.”

“I had a nice catch up with a friend at Cafe Society, during a busy lunchtime period. The food was lovely and service was good. It was a tidy cafe. I had to sit next to my friend instead of opposite him, as the seats are quite far apart and it’s hard to hear when there is a lot of people - but that’s what happens when it’s busy! It wouldn’t be affordable to come here every lunch - as a tea and a burrito came to just shy of £10. Although hopefully I can be back again soon.”

“Nice 2 floor shopping centre next to the train and bus station of Aberdeen. The ground floor is mainly café and clothes stores, while the upper floor is for restaurants. Definitely a nice place to hang out while waiting for your train.”

“Lovely sopping place. There is a coffee shop available inside Sainsbury we're you can have coffee, tee, drinks or eating something to relax before or after sopping. There you can find food, drink, jewellery, clothing, home products. They sale very gud quality products and different types of products.”

“First time customers and will definitely be back. Ordered on their website which was easy to navigate and good choice. I arrived 10mins later and was ready after just a few minutes. Polite staff on the counter despite it appearing busy in the waiting area which is no surprise for a Friday night. All food was roasting hot by the time I got home and each dish was delicious. Only shame really was no prawn crackers included but next time we will order a bag as a they do make a meal.”

“Every time we get a kebab we only go to Tasty. If they’re closed (Mondays), we order pizza. They once forgot our extra garlic sauce and then resent the delivery driver. The best kebab in Aberdeen. Every time. Can’t fault them one bit!”

“I decided to grab a kebab on the way home from work, was served straight away and didn't have to wait long for the food, doner kebab was nicely spiced and wasn't dry, chicken kebab was well seasoned and very tasty, the pitta breads stayed moist and didn't soak up loads of grease or water. The salad was a nice portion and a good mix of all vegetable. A really nice surprise to get garlic mayo and a spicy tomatoes dip with the kebab, both of which were really tasty, not overly garlic and not overly spicy, they made for a nice accompaniment to the dish.”

“It was a pleasant experience overall. The food was cooked fresh for us - mushroom soup and seafood risotto - so it took some time to be ready, but it was worth the wait. Excellent service, very friendly atmosphere.”

“Really hard to find fault in an honest, good value and hearty Sunday carvery. Delicious food, warm atmosphere and very child friendly. Play are is also fantastic for the kids. Had a little issue with the soft drink machine but was sorted promptly by staff so no complaints. Will definitely make it a regular trip when driving through Aberdeen.”
