“Very convenient cheaper than Tescos and Sainsburys 1st class.”
“Great garage with nice friendly staff.. helped me out BIG time. Use now and again when passing”
“I use this branch for the convenience of being able to use a company fuel card to fill the van on the way home. An additional Ad Blue pump would be a great improvement to this handy fuel stop.”
“Within the confines of its limited space, this store remarkably upholds a standard of cleanliness while impressively maintaining a well-stocked inventory. Despite its size, it emerges as a comprehensive haven for all your travel necessities. The culinary offerings stand was closed when I visited, looking like they always have a tantalizing selection of hot and freshly prepared food readily available. One notable feature is the cost-effectiveness of their drinks, cereal, produce and more. This affordability factor adds a noteworthy dimension to the overall shopping experience. The store's ambiance is inviting, and the strategic organization of products enhances the ease of navigating through the space. There's a discernible commitment to orderliness, contributing to an aesthetically pleasing and functional environment. The emphasis on offering fresh food items underscores a dedication to quality, catering to the discerning customer. A standout attribute lies in the store's pricing strategy, particularly evident in the competitive pricing of foods, snacks and candies. This savvy approach not only makes these products more accessible but also positions the store as a cost-conscious option. In summary, the amalgamation of cleanliness, their rest room, diverse product offerings, culinary quality, and sensible pricing solidifies this store's status. Awarding it a well-deserved five stars is not just an acknowledgment but a recognition of its ability to surpass expectations, making it a go-to stop for travelers seeking a seamless and satisfactory shopping experience.”
“Good car wash, decently priced. Pay at pump only is handy too.”
“There's auto Car wash which is newly refurbished and it's quite efficient as well! Just for $7”
“Could you please thank your security man, i fell leaving your store on Thursday afternoon. My trolley stuck and he told me to pull it back. As i was doing this my foot caught as someone had moved a triangular sign. Your security guard lifted me up with help from a customer and asked if i was ok. I was more embarrassed. Never thanked him. Nothing broken but badly bruised.”
“Still do octane 97 (E5) petrol.”
“An excellent convenience store, petrol station and house fuel items.”
“I love this shop , great selection of products, friendly and helpful staff , fast checkout, I'm shopping there few times a week and it is my favourite local shop so far .”
“Friendly staff. Good convience store for most things you'd need”
“- 24h, - cheapest petrol around on the day I visited, - cash & card accepted, - pay at pump, - quick & efficient.”
“Not sure why other reviews here are low. I've found that the staff are more than helpful, facilities for business transactions at the Post Office inside are superb. Products are restocked regularly, prices are fair, shop is clean and plenty of options. Quite happy to give it 5 stars and would hope that there aren't any shenanigan's with other petrol stations putting in dodgy reviews to discredit Cooleys. You can shop there in confidence.”
“I shop here at least 6 days a week. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. At 75 if I have a heavy shop , they are very willing to help me with it to my car.”
“Several weeks ago while paying for a few items I dropped a £20 note in the Antrim Road Maxol Spar. Much later in the day, when I realised what had happened, I thought I might as well go back and check although I very much doubted that IF it had been found, that it would have been turned in. Imagine my surprise and delight when I discovered that not only had it been found by the always pleasant and friendly Pauline, but that another employee had recognised me as the owner of the £20 from a screen shot taken of me at the earlier time when I dropped the money. Thank you Pauline! Always great service at this Spar at a time when the concept of "service" is fast eroding.”
“Good Asda supermarket with a petrol station and carwash in Bangor. There's a £1 carpark charge for 3 hours parking, but it's discounted if you spend £5 in the supermarket.”
“Amazed to see negative reviews of this shop. It is a fantastic facility and it makes other forecourt shops look pathetic. Love the hot food and the staff are always amazing. Keep up the great work.”
“Great shop. Serves food such as wraps and sandwiches but also a great Sunday dinner. Does hot food too. Also sells small and large dinners at the fridges which is really good if you're in a hurry and various pre-prepared foods. Has a Costa coffee machine as well. Sells ice cream by the scoop, soft serve, and frozen drinks. Sometimes can get things in here that the Spar doesn't stock.”
“Great layout since it was renovated. Much easier to get to a checkout and the self checkouts are great. Before it was very cramped and you could sometimes end up queueing for hot food by accident because their queues were flowing the same way - not anymore.”
