“First saw the hoodie a few months back and fell in love with it. Instead of doing my usual and grabbing it from my usual supplier, decided to dig a bit deeper in these times of austerity. Bagged it for an unbelievable price from Excel Clothing. Website was fast and easy to navigate. Delivery was quick too. Very impressed and will be back.”

“One of the "must shops" to visit in Newtownards. Fantastic value and I always get a bargain. Most staff are very pleasant, others must be having a bad day! Love the homeware and household on the first floor, Wallis and off course the stunning ladies clothing labels on the top floor inc Planet. Keep up the great work, there's few great places to shop on the High Street left.”

“Went in to Street Life to get a couple of things for a party and a wedding. Normally I don't like help when I'm browsing clothes but Vivienne was incredibly helpful finding me sizes and finding the best deals from sale items. And she managed to upsell me a few items which I probably wouldn't have chosen myself but I'm really glad I went with her recommendations. Now I will say I came out with much more than I intended to buy, but I'll look much better for it. And they will offer a discount on multiple items so do ask. I highly recommend Street Life. It's a very different shop than it used to be when it was in the shopping centres. Give it a go. You won't be disappointed.”

Came out sorted with good long t-shirts - i'm 6'7'' and heavy but they have the right long but roomy sizes. not baggy like a lot out there. Carries all sorts from jeans to jackets.. even jocks. “For over 3 years now I have been bringing my"no longer loved" clothes,shoes & handbags to The Wardrobe for either Janine or Jordan to select & sell on to customers. They have a flair for knowing the value of the items & which will be certain to be "snapped up" and will be loved once again!! To get 40% of the sale price is fabulous! A very environmentally friendly service indeed as clothes recycling is so fashionable. On occasions I have purchased some special items in the shop myself with the proceeds from my sales. As they say " money makes the world go round" or in this case " the clothes go round"!! I would encourage other ladies to bring along their unwanted fashion to The Wardrobe for sale or make a visit to the shop or browse online. A special dress could be meant for you!!”

“I call into Moda each time I'm in Newtownards (x4 each year) and just love the selection of shoes/bags etc. On this visit I was lucky it was sale time and bought a number of pairs (not mentioning how many in case my husband reads this!!). I couldn't fit them all in my hand luggage and an offer was made to post them to me. Amazing service as they arrived within 2 days. I can't recommend this shop highly enough - wonderful choice, wonderful service and great prices. Any chance of a branch in Devon??”

I was also keen to support small, locally established businesses as 2020 has amplified this need, as well as giving the opportunity to sample bespoke products. Luna didn’t disappoint, the Christmas diffuser I kept for myself providing positive and alluring festive scents which I’m sure will last well into 2021. Thoughtfully packaged, with a premium feel on par with Jo Malone. Definitely recommend!”

Window display is always beautifully presented with new ranges being shown and changed on a regular basis. Well worth a visit especially when the sale is on. Bargains in here are real bargains!!!”
