“I popped to Robins timber merchant yesterday to purchase a piece of board to put on my painting easel. The lads behind the counter could not have been more helpful. The wood I brought was much cheaper than I expected. Even better, one of the lads gave me an off-cut from a panel board. “It’s not often that I write reviews, I'm probably one of those that just expects good service, however dealing with Worcester Timber Products I felt compelled to leave a review as their service was nothing short of 5 gold stars. Ordered a number of fence panels and left a special instruction asking if I could get them by the weekend. I got the automated reply to say thanks for the order it will be 7-10 days. Long story short I got a second email to say I would get them the next day which was less than 24 hours which tells me someone read my request. The team where extremely courteous when they dropped them off and ther went above and beyond by placing them where I needed them, not just dumping them at the gate like so many companies do. “It was straight forlward to join, easy to order online. The only issue had was the collection address was for the branch in Poole instead of Birmingham...... Nothing a quick phone call couldn't solve. Plenty of parking spaces there when I went to Collect, my order was ready on a trolley. All it left me to do was check it over and pack it in the car.....”

“David at Ikon kitchens came highly recommended from a neighbour. Finding a reliable trader these days is hard. After shopping around, we decided to go with David. And he was as good as expected. We had a main kitchen area and a utility / spice kitchen done by David and his team, completed in Oct-Nov 2022. Design, selection of worktops/units, installation, aftercare - nothing was too much trouble. Always at the end of a telephone or email. And his installer Duncan is meticulous and reliable. When several unexpected challenges in our extension work was threatening the timescales, and the completion, that’s when David’s true worth came through. He was there throughout, sorting any glitches, advising as needed, calling suppliers and sorting the rearranged schedules without any hesitation. He even came with his tool kit and sorted a tall unit door installation so the builders could proceed instead of asking us to wait a week as planned for the installer to fit. And, aftercare was excellent too. A minor problem with the range cooker which could have been easily left to the customer to contact the manufacturer was dealt with by David. He took time to visit and understand the problem, contacted the manufacturer and arranged the engineer visit. We would recommend David and Ikon kitchens any day.”

Haps from the customer service team was particularly helpful, patient and reassuring, making sure they do everything possible to still meet the delivery deadline when there was a small issue with the worktop.
