Honestly very grateful for her effort. I've also previously purchased wines from this store. The selection and in store help has always been great.”

“I ordered oxtail with rice and veggies from this Jamaican/Caribbean takeaway, and honestly, it hit the spot. The oxtail was the star of the plate — juicy, rich, and full of flavour. I couldn’t help myself! Big shoutout to Mel, because I’m sure she was the one behind the pot. She really did her thing with the cooking. After a long and tiring day at work, that food brought me back to life. It lifted my mood, gave me energy, and turned my Sunday into a proper good one. I genuinely appreciate the beautiful food they make here. Definitely worth it.”

“This is the only Caribbean takeaway I go to in Birmingham I have been goin here for years and decided I needed to leave a review because I’d be lost without u this place is next level it hits the spot everytime all the food is amazing my fave is oxtail but leave with about 5 meals everytime I go just for myself lol honestly u shouldn’t Evan think about it try it and watch how it becomes your regular and only Caribbean takeaway the service is also lovely and the portions are nice and big I’m just saying try everything lol”

“I have been coming to China Bento since it opened. I really liked the alternative and traditional dishes that were offered and sad that the local community didn’t get behind this more. However this doesn’t take away from great food, really tasty and the service is always fab too. Honestly one of the best Chinese take aways I’ve had.”

Friendly service and great food as well, with variety of options on the menu. They also do a great deal for a 2-course meal only for £16.95 from Monday to Thursday. Would definitely return to try out the other dishes!”

“We often take our dog for a walk in Warley Woods but went to the cafe for first time today. There's a good selection of food at very reasonable prices, including children's menu. We opted for some take away coffees and were hard pushed to select a single cake from the array of delicious looking homemade options. Cash and card (minimum £5) taken. Also noticed the option for instant coffee which is a nice touch for anyone who doesn't want to pay 'proper' coffee prices.”

Our drive home was an hour, we expected the takeaway to have lost a little something in the journey - moisture build up, sweating of containers etc... but no. The temperature controlled containers didn’t fault at all. The thoughtful touches continue, an array of chutneys, dips and garnishes, the individual packing of components ensuring dishes don’t get soggy or wet. POM have gone the distance, they’ve thought of everything - even instructions on reheating food are included.
