“Tried the lamb kebab] and it definitely hit the spot. The meat was juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled just right with a slight char for extra flavor. The wrap was warm and soft, and the garlic sauce tied everything together perfectly. Fresh veggies added a nice crunch. Portion size was solid for the price. Would happily go back for another!”

“I live in California now, but I always crave proper fish n chips when I visit home. Not many places are decent any more so I always have to drive a little further to come here. The fish n chips are delicious. Cooked in beef dripping which is the only way they should ever be done.”

“We were staying nearby so decided to try here. Not been to a beefeater in years. We felt the main courses were expensive and pretty dull. So decided to mix it up and get 4 starters to share plus a side. It was a very large portion but overall good. Puddings were tasty too and great cocktails. Generally OK if you think outside the box about what to order. Our waitress was lovely too!”

“What can i say about our wedding here on 29th July 2022..wow ..amazing. magical..best day of our lives..we booked 2 years ago and due to covid it was pushed back..during this time the hotel had new management and we had seen a couple of negative comments so called and asked for a meeting..all our worries were talked through and we were put at ease..then we booked an appt to meet the new wedding planner pippa 2 weeks before the wedding and knew instantly that she was totally on the ball..she did not let us down her communication was fantastic and she did everything possible to make our day so special..we had no hiccups and everything ran like clockwork. The only slight niggle would be the queue for the bar but we did have a large wedding so maybe at the next large wedding another bar team member would help..but all in all our day was perfect and we wouldn't change a single minute of it. The team worked so hard and made our day special. Thank you to all the staff”

“Absolutely lovely, would say it's a bit more expensive than usual for drinks but the staff are amazing and the atmosphere whilst you're there is just great. Everyone we met was so lovely and the tunes are banging!”

“Really handy shop right next to Mary Stevens park and a chippy. I usually come here to drop off yodel parcels and the staff are always friendly. They have some great offers in store too and a really good range of items. Parking is just outside which is great. Well worth popping in.”
