The academy's progress officer consistently monitors my son's progress against half-term targets to ensure he stays on track. At home, my wife and I have access to detailed lesson reports, which we review with him to keep up with his learning. “Becoming a UoBS student opens up a young persons path in the most incredible way, with the support, expertise and community that UoBS has to offer you really can achieve anything. During my two years of sixth form I engaged with many of these opportunities for example chances to network and familiarise myself in environments that I aspire to find myself in post education, including visits to organisations in Birmingham and London as well as a variety of events and talks at the university; an example the Women in Finance conference. I also had the pleasure of attending a lunch at the House of Lords as a representative of the school. These sorts of experiences are what taking learning beyond the classroom is all about and not the kinds of things accessible to just any organisation. I will be forever grateful to the incredibly dedicated staff who have the most inspiring dedication to not only their subject/ job but for the wellbeing and success of every individual student. Nothing was ever too ambitious and every student is encouraged to go above and beyond; nothing was ever to big an ask. The University of Birmingham School has impacted my life in so many ways, not only by academic achievement and guidance for life/ further education but by helping me shape my character into one that can tackle any situation that faces me.”

“Absolutely fantastic school. would recommend to ANY child. But would highly recommend if you feel your child is slightly behind, needs that extra support, it's a nurturing school. The teachers are so on the ball. With each and every child. and i personally could not thank them enough for everything they have done for my son. And still continue to do. My son use to struggle to want to go to his old school he would cry get anxiety even make himself sick.But now every morning his waiting at the hall door at 8 o'clock waiting for breakfast club.the teachers really go above and beyond so thank you amington heath.”

“I am appalled at some of the reviews on here. Both my daughters attended St Paul's and are still very proud to be a St Paul's girl. They are both anglo asian and never experienced racism or bullying of any kind. The balance between religion and education is excellent. They were taught to value themselves and their role and place in the world. My eldest daughter was supported through a difficult time and that extended to the whole family. The St Paul's enviroment is one of support and an excellent standard of education. The wonderful team of teachers led by one of the most inspirational head teachers i have ever known.”

“My eldest went to this nursery, and it truly was the best I could have asked for. I was a little hesitant about sending my younger one, as he was much younger than his sibling when starting. But since joining the Daisy Room in September, he has settled in so well and has been looked after wonderfully. His key worker, Jenny, has been especially amazing. He built a strong bond with her very quickly, and as a mother, that means everything to me I wanted him to feel close to an adult and know there was someone he could rely on. He has learned so much from Jenny, and she’s done a fantastic job teaching him good manners. Thank you.
