“Following a recent hit-and-run to a Volvo XC40, the guys here had a rear o/s door in the same colour. Communication around collecting the door and swapping the two complete ones over was made quickly. I got a bodyshop in West Yorkshire to take the old door off and to hold the car overnight. We then set off for the West Midlands and made the exchange/paid for the new door. Next day, our bodyshop fitted the new door (also from a 2023 car, like our car) in a matter of minutes. It also meant that whilst there have been costs involved, that a claim on our car’s insurance has been avoided. The whole process cost less than the excesses on our policy (not including any raise in premiums). This firm have been good guys to deal with, both in terms of cost, communication, service and helpfulness.”
