He drove the car around with me, formulated a possible diagnosis and led me through the underlying reasoning before suggesting what type of repair he would try. “My Jag XKR had a very bizzare noise in 2nd gear that no one could figure out. I took it to JagTech in notts and they came out with me in my car to diagnose the noise. They’d never heard anything like it. They put it up on the ramp and found that an exhaust clamp was the incorrect way round from my exhaust work that i had done elsewhere. The exhaust clamp was touching the gearbox as I accelerated. They turned it the correct way, ensured the problem was sorted and they charged me NOTHING. Such great help and very polite guys. “Wouldn’t go anywhere else ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I went to CTS in Derby (WOULD NOT RECOMMEND) where they fitted a sensor for my Audi. Having left that garage my EML came back on. Having visiting them again they tried to tell me it was an electrical fault and to seek an auto electrician. I went to Ash as I knew he did electrical work, to my suprise he informed me there was no electrical fault. It was down to the fact they hadn’t fitted a genuine part. Fast forward a few weeks I got a genuine part put in and the light is no more. This lads knowledge is second to none. He is very reliable, trustworthy and a great price competitor.
