“First visit for afternoon tea as seen lots of good reviews from my gluten free community and it did not disappoint! All very tasty and filling and the cakes are so light and yummy! Will 100% be back”
“Little gem of a tea room! Excellent selection of good priced food. Food excellent quality & portions good too. (3 adults visiting with a dog) Tried their bacon sandwich which was freshly made with plenty of bacon in a soft bap. Coffees made fresh, so we ended up staying long enough for a second round of coffees with cakes (gingerbread man, millionaires shortbread, cornflake tart…..all good value and would easily beat the competition for quality). We’ll certainly be back as there were other good valued meals advertised that we’d like to have tried too. Easily accessible location, and happy to accept dogs (they get as much attention as the humans!)”
“Found this place completely by chance but am so glad that I did. Been a few times now, food is superb and fantastic value for money and the staff are really friendly. Definitely where I'll be getting my sarnies from now on!”
“Writing this on behalf of my mum who isn’t very good with technology- my mum visited today for the first time, as she has recently had surgery and wanted to get out. The young girl working was very helpful and made time to talk to my mum and ask about her day despite being busy, as the other lady was working the gift shop. The youngster chatting to my mum made her day as she can often feel lonely, she also made a beautiful latte . My mum wishes for this young lady to get the credit she deserves, although she didn’t catch her name but says she was tall with brunette hair. My mum says she will definitely be back, next time with all her friends.”
“Lovely cafe, tasty food and friendly staff. Oh and they are trying to reduce the waste they produce (single use plastics) so win win.”
“Eggs Benedict with smoked Salmon and hot cheese sauce. O baby, delicious £10. Red velvet cake with pouring cream. Come to daddy £5 indulgent cappuccino smooth and lovely. Relax and enjoy. Mmmmm”
“Good cafe. Outdoor seating available when the weather is suitable. A little on the expensive side for meals.”
“Had my first visit with my family today and i honestly cant praise it highly enough, the food was utterly divine, the lady running it was so friendly and welcoming and it was lovely and clean i wish i could give a higher rating and i cant wait for my next visit”
“A dual purpose coffee bar (one of those you lean against, no seats) and alcoholic drinks station/bar. I passed whilst exiting Sunbridgewells and was drawn in by the selection of spirits on offer. Good chat with the owner. Great little place.”
“A great little local coffee shop and delicatessen counter! The sausage rolls here are to die for and the coffee is by far the best around. Great for a little pit stop on your canal or riverside walk! (It’s dog friendly too)”
“Amazing coffee, food and atmosphere! They really put effort into everything they make. Everything on the dish was homemade and very tasty and wholesome. Coffee was fantastic as well”
“Honestly, I tried all the places in Halifax and i can say that Mrs B’s deserve the 5 stars, and i will advise any one who wants to taste the actual homemade food to go there”
“Such good coffee and breakfast! You get amazing quality and portions for the price. Can’t recommend highly enough”
“We had a great regular breakfast there today. The quality was on point and it was I great size for the price. I also tried an old classic, Steak Canadian with fried onions and I'd totally forgotten how good that sandwich was. Staff were lovely, pleasant and chatty. Thank you very much ladies.”
“Lovely place to visit. Excellent service and atmosphere. I love popping in for a cuppa and my friend enjoys her alcoholic beverage.”
“Was in the area so popped in the cafe needing to kill a bit of time. The food great and the cappuccino was also excellent. The staff are really friendly, as are the new owners. Hoping to visit again if I ever journey across to Bingley again!”
“The quality of the staff is as important as the food they serve — and this place proves it. The team are friendly, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. The food and drinks are consistently good and thoughtfully prepared.”
“This a fine little dog cafe . You can tell the girls love dogs decent coffee and a fantastic Biscoff ice cream milk shake . Scone with cream and jam delicious . Basil the dog enjoyed his ice cream . When in Hebden Bridge give Kibble bakery a visit .”
“Great little place, we aren't vegan, but did have a veggie with us. All the food was amazing. the best burger ever was the comment from our Veggie. The staff and service were great. They are extremely dog friendly and brought our tired 4 month old springer, water, treats, and even a dog mat for her to lay on to keep her off the floor. Absolutely fantastic.”
“Always a great atmosphere here; generally (and unsurprisingly) busy, but we’ve never yet failed to find a table. Really good layout with plenty of space. Dogs are made very welcome (with their own little treats corner), but there is a dog-free area for those that prefer it. Food is great, served quickly and delivered with a smile. Staff are fab and super-friendly. From the menu, a special shout out must go to the eggs bennies - our regular favourite - but the avocado toast and the mushrooms are also delicious! Really good range of drinks - especially very good coffees, and you can easily walk (or cycle) off your meal by stepping out of the back door straight onto the canal path for a little wander. We are not cyclists but will continue to be regular walk in visitors nevertheless. This place is a big favourite.”
“A great place to sit and watch the world go by. The staff are really friendly and kind, nothing is too much. They really put me and my dog at ease and were really happy for us to enjoy the lovely ambience they created. Would definitely go back again.”
“Absolutely love this little coffee house & eatery in Pudsey. They have attained the perfect balance - by infusing the art of coffee making with tranquil ambiance in setting. Cup 19 Coffee Lounge is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I come here every time I visit my family in Farsley!”
“Outstanding food! I only discovered this place a few months ago but I've been here twice now and both times the food was incredible. The selection is great, it's well priced and the service is excellent too. Highly recommend the bagels, the Texan one with brisket in particular, but the roast beef one is also delicious and so it's the gochujang pork belly. The cakes are also very good.”
“This place is just perfect. We went for a lovely but chilly walk and finished up here after wanting to visit for ages and we weren't disappointed. Even from the outside it's special, and when you walk in its just a lovely fuzzy welcoming feeling of awesomeness. No.54 has so much quirky character, but natural, not forced. We sat at a beautiful, old arty table by the window and ordered full breakfasts. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and using great quality produce. I want to go back already, and can Imagine it being the perfect venue for a little celebration. Service was warm and friendly, and there's plenty of food choices to suit everyone. Resisted the cakes this time but I don't think that would happen next time!!!”
“Love this place! Beautifully decorated, friendly staff, tasty food & delicious coffee One of my fav places to go & read :)”
“Great spot for a spot of dinner. I had homemade cottage pie with onion and cheese mash topping, lashings of gravy, chips and peas! Absolutely massive portions. The cafe had a lively atmosphere with plenty of locals and tradesmen coming in for coffee and butties. The staff were brilliant; polite, courteous and very accommodating. If you're looking for great quality food at a reasonable price you can't go far wrong with Care @ 19!”
“All I wanted was a soup to go . If you have ever requested this , from anywhere . It's not also available. Even rarely. There was tomato and chilli which I have. With brown bread and plenty of butter. Just how i like it . Or chicken and sweet corn . Again another top soup I would choose. Then the sweet slice . Mint cream . I had to get it. And the display then just shone. Everything looking more delicious then the next . I ended up choose a honey comb , road or something and a chocolate covered flap jack . And of course coffee to go”
“Great little cafe, great value for money. Avoid if you want skinny latte & croissant, they serve proper food. Recommended.”
“We called in for a coffee which we upgraded to coffee and bacon & sausage sandwiches ... good coffee and sandwiches were very nice. Will definitely return.”
“PERFECT! There is no need to repeat that word because it applies to EVERYTHING. Desprate for a nice breakfast after landing at Leeds Bradford Airport. Googled for an all-day breakfast nearby and struck gold. No waiting, seated straight away, the atmosphere is perfect, very relaxing. Ordered straight away and served very quickly. What you see in the pictures of the food is what you get, very well presented by quality staff. If you have not visited yet, when you do, I think you will be returning.40-minute drive for us, but we will be calling again. The Corner House puts many larger restaurants we have been to, to shame. Visited Murgatroyds a couple of weeks ago. They were worth a 3.5 > 4.0, a 15% refund required there. Felt like paying more for what we received at the Corner House. Give them a try. They will not let you down. Dave C”
