“We stayed here on the way to the Lake District to break up our trip. We could easily have stayed longer. The location is magnificent, the room was great and the breakfast and service was exceptional. Such a great B&B option in a very special place! Thank you for hosting us! It started our holiday in a very special way!”

“Another Haworth local gem, this traditional bistro cum deli has the gallic-vibes dialled up to 11. Located right in heart of Bronte village itself at the top of Main Street, it’s renowned for 'choose you own' cheese and meat boards; quaint stew pots (chasseurs and bourguignon etc); the rather fun raclette grill (pictured) and many more trad’ French dishes - even L’escargot for the more adventurous! Friendly staff, extensive wine list - most avail’ by the glass and dog-friendly, much like Haworth itself, it’s a warm, atmospheric hug from start to finish.”

“We found this pub by chance when staying in the area during the August bank holiday weekend, they managed to squeeze us in last minute and so glad they did, we all ate something different and each meal was delicious Not only was the food lush the service was great too, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, quite clearly genuinely enjoy working there, we enjoyed it so much we went again the following evening, again all had something different and again the food was great . Really tastes great and home cooked and cooked well. I believe my dad will be talking about the steak and ale pie for EVER and my mum the chips Unfortunately I only took one photo, this is the beef lasagne, my meal from our first visit 100% recommended, my only regret is we didn’t go back for the Sunday roast, we went somewhere else in the area that had been recommended ! That’s a separate and less complimentary review”

“The lady, who I'm assuming is the owner, was a lovely essentric welcoming host who runs a very quirky little establishment serving a wide variety of coffee roasts and lovely baked goods. I was fortunate to get some freshly baked scones...straight of the oven, and hey not traditional and puffed up, still tasted lovely. Recommend the Rwandan beans if you get a chance to try it. Nice attention to detail across the decor and crockery.”

“A very warm welcome for a group of hikers wandering in late on a Sunday after finishing another segment of the Pennine Way. The roast was fantastic, our starters even better! (tandoori chicken I think? So goooood) Hardly had room for dessert, but theSticky Toffee Pudding really did top things off nicely. The drinks selection wasn't large, but what they had was great. But truly the biggest stand out from the evening was the friendly hosts!”

“Love this place without a doubt will come back again!!! We came up to Yorkshire to celebrate a family event and decided to come to this family run Italian restaurant as it’s the only other one that was open in the town (other one was closed). The staff were all so lovely and helpful helping us choose what to eat, the owners dad was singing and whistling while serving it was a great vibe. All the customers were speaking Italian and the place was full so we knew we came to the right place! We even ended up seeing the owner and her dad in the cafe we went to the next morning haha! Now the food, they had a deal for three courses I think it was £18 We got the calamari, garlic bread and king prawns Maybe because we opted for the deal we got served smaller portions but that’s no issue you get what you paid for however the king prawns were not king prawns at all, they were very small and were regular prawns and only 5 came. They were the size of a 10p coin. Also didn’t come with shells (which upon asking about why these aren’t king prawns which we didn’t get an answer to, they have no shells because the community doesn’t like it which is understandable) the sauce however was spicy but not too much and had a great fresh tomato flavour!! The calamari was delicious the sauce was also great, and the garlic bread was soft and pillowy, great to dip into the sauce of the prawns!! The mains were a very big let down, lacking of flavour but good portions. I got the mixed seafood linguine in tomato sauce, my friend got the lobster ravioli and my other friend got the chicken, cream and pesto pasta I believe. My pasta was a generous portion with plenty of seafood however had no flavour, no salt or pepper no garlic nothing it was just as if they just stirred the pasta with the sauce and seafood and just put it on a plate. My friends lobster ravioli didn’t taste of lobster at all just of fish, like sickening fishy, I think they may use seafood bouillon or fish paste in the sauce or ravioli, no complaints from the chicken cream and pesto friend but he eats anything really haha. The pasta itself was cooked really well and aldente! I think they sensed we didn’t like it and did offer to change our pastas however we didn’t want to complain as they were so lovely!!! Also the wine we ordered was a white wine and we got a bottle, it was warm… and we realised it came out of the box it had came in and wasn’t in the fridge at all. The wine cooler they put on the table that had the wine in had a few measles ice cubes at the bottom and was plastic… so didn’t do a good job at all. Surely, Knowing you’ve not got a properly chilled wine, you would provide a proper cooler and more ice, nevertheless the bottle of Pinot Grigio was delicious. The service and dessert is where they won us over, they had a special dessert of Trilece (they import the caramel from Albania, and the homemade tiramisu! These were to die for, even though we were stuffed we practically licked our plates clean. We ended our dinner with a lovely chat with all the staff about what there is to do in Haworth and Keighley and Limoncello on the house. The food is extremely reasonably priced but I’m coming up from London so I’m not going to blab on about that haha, and they don’t even add service to their bills. They said that their menu is expensive to where they are. 3 courses for each person ( we were three people) and a bottle of wine £75 !!!!!! I highly recommend this place if you’re nearby and if I ever go back up to Keighley I will be visiting again!!! Grazie per averci ospitato, ci vediamo di nuovo!”

“We did not stay here so no stars for the rooms. However, we did eat here and it was tremendously good value and quality. I had the steak and ale pie, with mash and garden peas. the pie is served in the pot and has a nice puff pastry topping. The filling was incredible. There were huge chunks of tender, flavoursome steak. (It made the old Pedigree chum adverts look like they were advertising mincemeat.) I cannot comment on the puddings as we were too full from our main courses to eat one. Very friendly staff, fantastic beers, kept well and served well.”

“I just recently had a brilliant stay at the YHA Haworth. Me and Several members of our family had the pleasure of staying at YHA. We had a brilliant experience to say the least. We booked out several rooms, to sleep in, and also threw a party in the newly renovated entertainment room. We were lucky to have some good weather, which made my experience just that much better. The building itself is beautiful, and the stained glass windows, and the spiral staircase make for some amazing pictures. I honestly couldn’t recommend this place any more. We all loved our experience, and were treated extremely well. The service we received was brilliant, and we were treated very well. It was great fun for the family, and the children too. The games room allowed for the children to have their fun, while the sitting room allowed the older kids and the adults to relax. Brilliant stay, and I will for sure come again. Couldn’t recommend it any more. Definitely a stay worth making.”

“Just updating my review 3rd November 2025 and must say great they keep up the standard of food, service and takeaway, I mainly buy king Prawn fried Rice and Mushroom Omelette or sometimes Mushroom fu young with chips, they always give us a free bag of Prawn Crackers even so I fall a little short to qualify, one as to spend £15 to qualify and my order usually comes upto £14.80 so good and kind of them to still give the Prawn crackers. So I can strongly recommend the takeaway, I mostly ring my order to collect and always ready withing the time they say so no waiting and like I say always polite 100%.”
