Our dogs love a trip down they always get loads of cuddles and even get some treats from vic. They always stock the best of the best from vet bedding to their own brand leads harness and collars, raw food, kibble, toys, supplements and all your other pet accessories. If ever in doubt vic will always reassure and give the best advice on whatever she can help with. Would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone. And not to mention vic always goes above and beyond for all her customers and always takes part in community events like the k9 party in the park.”

“I'm so happy with this store. I have visited once or twice with kids and friends. The friendliness of the staff and their willingness to help with any request always stands out to me. On this most recent trip I left my bags in the car, I needed the toilet by the time I finished packing. I was kindly allowed to use the staff toilet with supervision. I do think in 2024 everyone should have easy access to toilets. I also love the layout of the shop and their range of products. I'm always on the hunt for more plant based/eco friendly options and ALDI never lets me down. Thank you Elland ALDI!”

“I absolutely LOVE this shop !! It's really extended its range so all the fresh and frozen you could wish for. I've been an avid Big Brand supermarket shopper for years and still use them as they've some products and an excellent money saving app which I use to buy with on every visit but have Heron Food upped their game or what ?? I've worked in catering off and on for years so think I know my food and was also employed as the Kitchen Manager of a local and very busy café so think I know my food !! I love cooking in all it's forms and am getting far more adventurous with what I buy and also eat especially now I've got the time to do this plus I've been Pescatarian for over 30 years so my choice going back years was far more limited than it is now. I always used to batch cook when my daughter was at school as I worked full time so a frozen meal straight from the freezer not only saves you time but you know exactly what's gone into it and don't need to get 2 portions of ready made or chilled for one of our bitter winter nights. They don't close until 7pm, have excellent reductions if you're in there at the right time and the most helpful staff ever, they've been brilliant EVERY time I've been in and are a really amusing team to chat to from the moaning till lad to the Manager. I said I'd sack him if he was mine and he actually looked hopeful but I think it's a bit of a standing joke between them !! If they were mine I'd double all of their salaries because they do get some awkward customers, work long hours and do everything from shelf filling, till to cleaning the whole shop properly after working a long & hard day. Thank you for a brilliant choice, excellent prices and Salt O' the Earth staff !! Marks out of 10 ?? A very easy 15 :-))”

When, unable to read Polish, I was at a loss while looking for a particular item, one of the very helpful ladies there showed me what I wanted.”
