“We attended Teen Terrors with our puppy chihuahua and also had a one to one session for our older terrier cross who has struggled with anxiety/reactivity over the years. Both me and my husband felt so much more confident after working with Jo. She really understands and cares for dogs. We learnt about lead handling and how to use body language to stay connected with your dog. We learnt about the importance of play and giving your dog choices. And we focussed on setting our dogs up for success - choosing the right environment for a walk, eliminating stress etc. We're all now feeling positive and ready to go!”

“Updating to show our appreciation for Jess and her team. Due to breaking my ankle, I was unable to drive meaning our boy didn’t get a groom for many months. He was in a desperate need for one and Jess and the team done an amazing groom on him without any judgment, thank you! We are regular and returning customers. Our 5 year old Husky doesn’t like being groomed (as most Huskies) but I trust Jess and her team. He comes out looking and smelling amazing!”

“I’ve been taking my puppy to It’s a Dog Life for 5 months now, one day a week, and they are always so flexible if I need an extra day. The cost is so reasonable compared to a dog walker, and I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s cared for all day while I’m at work. The staff are amazing – especially Louise, who my dog absolutely adores! He’s always so excited when we pull up, and often doesn’t want to leave. He’s also had a groom here and it was excellent. In fact, when I took him for a last-minute bath at Pets at Home, they asked who groomed him and said it was one of the best they’d seen. I would honestly be lost without this service. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely love Chris. My little girl Skye loves him so much and it’s very clear he loves her too and it’s not just a job to him. She’s so excited when he comes to pick her up and I’ve seen her in person out on a walk with him and her friends and she’s a completely different dog. She’s confident and in her own little world. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. The daily emails after a walk with pictures of the walk make me smile. I love seeing her having the time of life. She’s a tiny dog and can be nervous at times with other dogs, but size doesn’t bother her when out with Chris. He’s done amazing to boost her confidence and I really couldn’t ask for anything better. Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone”

“Pippa was great with our two from the moment we booked. Little walks, daycare, and single night stop over to help get to know each other. Then, when the stay came, a good amount of feedback, photos and videos let us know they were enjoying being with her and the other dogs she cared for. Definitely hope to use again next year.”

“Such a great service I love that it is easy to book walks and they are very flexible which is perfect for shift workers. They have a back up walker if your walker is off for any reason so your dog doesn't go without a walk. My dog loves his walks with his walker Kathryn and I look forward to seeing the photos they post afterwards.”

“We have just collected our dog from Andy’s today after she has spent a week there. This was her first decent stay with him and his family, after having a couple of trial days previously. It’s clear that’s she’s absolutely loved her stay!! We couldn’t be more pleased with the service, and at a very reasonable price too! We’ve had regular updates and it’s been so lovely to hear that she’s had lots of play time with the other dogs and lots of walks, both of which she adores. She was so pleased to see us when she came home but after her tea is now sparko which indicates how much she’s done this week. What a wonderful holiday she’s had! Thank you Andy and family for making Coco part of your pack for the week, it’s wonderful how much attention and love she has had from you all and she can’t wait to stay again. “So I've been here a few times as someone who doesn't live in Brighouse. Brighouse is an underestimated town and nowhere typifies the great attitude of the local populous more than this pub. Friendly,. Welcoming and several rooms with set functions like sport and music. If you happen to know a pub that is cold and unwelcoming show them this place. THIS is how a pub should be run.”

“I would highly recommend Matt! We had an initial meet for him to get to know my dog Arlo and make sure where he would fit in best. He really enjoys his walks and I know he is well cared for. Matt takes time to take pictures and videos from his walks which is a massive bonus for me to see that Arlo is doing well and having fun!”
