“Found this place completely by chance but am so glad that I did. Been a few times now, food is superb and fantastic value for money and the staff are really friendly. Definitely where I'll be getting my sarnies from now on!”

“Outstanding food! I only discovered this place a few months ago but I've been here twice now and both times the food was incredible. The selection is great, it's well priced and the service is excellent too. Highly recommend the bagels, the Texan one with brisket in particular, but the roast beef one is also delicious and so it's the gochujang pork belly. The cakes are also very good.”

Prices are genuinely good, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There’s even a McDonald’s inside and a clean, recently updated café downstairs. “Little gem in Calverley. The Little Coffee House has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and kind hosts. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast. The scrambled eggs were perfect - fluffy and delicious. They were melting in my mouth. Smoked salmon excellent complimented eggs with light saltiness and smokiness. My latte was creamy and smooth. It's definitely a place to return and try other items from the menu. Thank you!”

Food is well prepared and made with love, convenient area to stop by for a warm drink especially when cold days are approaching and aesthetics are pleasing to the eye. Staff are lovely. “2nd time I've ordered from here and both time the food has been spot on best butty had in a long time from a shop. Normally you can tell the bacon from other shops is cheap but here you can taste the quality, egg was cooked to perfection and just right size. Delivered to our door by by a polite a friendly bloke. We also got a brownie each me and my partner had salted caramel brownie which were soft and delicious tasted fresh and homemade, my daughter had the oreo brownie and she loved it. Spot on this place dont normally leave reviews but felt the need to share how good it is. Keep up the good work”

“Writing this on behalf of my mum who isn’t very good with technology- my mum visited today for the first time, as she has recently had surgery and wanted to get out. The young girl working was very helpful and made time to talk to my mum and ask about her day despite being busy, as the other lady was working the gift shop. The youngster chatting to my mum made her day as she can often feel lonely, she also made a beautiful latte . My mum wishes for this young lady to get the credit she deserves, although she didn’t catch her name but says she was tall with brunette hair. My mum says she will definitely be back, next time with all her friends.”

“This place is just perfect. We went for a lovely but chilly walk and finished up here after wanting to visit for ages and we weren't disappointed. Even from the outside it's special, and when you walk in its just a lovely fuzzy welcoming feeling of awesomeness. No.54 has so much quirky character, but natural, not forced. We sat at a beautiful, old arty table by the window and ordered full breakfasts. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and using great quality produce. I want to go back already, and can Imagine it being the perfect venue for a little celebration. Service was warm and friendly, and there's plenty of food choices to suit everyone. Resisted the cakes this time but I don't think that would happen next time!!!”

“Had a meeting with some colleagues and we were reserved a table. Coffees and lunches were appreciated by everyone. They had run out of paninis by the time we ordered, but were happy to oblige with a tuna toastie. Delicious cakes. Service with a smile and good wifi if you need a spot to work”

Came alone with my 2 under 2 and the lady working couldn’t have done more for us, she even helped us downstairs and into the car at the end so I didn’t have to do the babies one at a time. Clean and a lovely bit of dinner as well as a play that kept both of them entertained x”

“There are not many Japanese restaurants in Leeds. Feed is one of the good Sushi restaurants in Leeds. Besides Sushi, the crispy Tempura is a good choice. Free street parking.”

“I moved to Pudsey about a year ago, and this was my first time trying The Bearded Sailor. I have to say, everything was top-tier quality , from the lightning-fast and friendly service (even when busy) to the lovely, tender, perfectly battered fish and the flavoursome homemade tartar and curry sauces. Everything about this chippy oozes quality. Easily the best in the surrounding area, if not all of Leeds.”

“Really great cafe, serving freshly made food to a very high standard. The bakery part is so good, the vegan pastries are brilliant, the vegan pain au chocolat worth travelling for alone. The coffee is great too. Its always busy, but they service is really quick, highly recommend”

“Been a couple of times for a butty and a brew and its spot on for what it is. Its a standard cafe, no gimmicks or silly named coffees served in vases, decent food/portions and a really fair price. Will go again.”
