“Found this place completely by chance but am so glad that I did. Been a few times now, food is superb and fantastic value for money and the staff are really friendly. Definitely where I'll be getting my sarnies from now on!”
“We booked a party of 30 and Funky Indian did not disappoint. Plenty of lovely food and drinks, we did not wait at all. I would definitely recommend and we will be back. Thanks again! ;-)”
“The most succulent meat, juicy homemade chips and tasty salad. Tried other Greeks and not a patch on this one. Lovely people also. Its cash only so make sure you take cash if ordering in. You wont regret it!!”
“Very helpful team member. Had a problem getting the right size work boots needed before I went to work away. They helped me by ordering online to be ready to pick up next day. Would recommend this store.”
“1 nice staff 2 nice drinks 3 nice and clean 4 nice place 5 stars”
“Visited today and was really looked after by your store manager. Lovely lady she is. I will definitely become a regular now. She really went above and beyond for us. Definitely worth a 5 star”
“Highly recommend. I went to the Calverley Arms to treat my Grandparents for a Christmassy meal and it was amazing. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were beyond helpful and lovely. We ordered from the festive menu, we had the Sea bass, the chicken/pancetta/leak pie and a steak, with salted caramel profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding for dessert, it was all incredible. The chefs Danny and Amber cooked everything to perfection. All of the staff were lovely, but our servers Louise and Ellie were so friendly and were more than accommodating with slight changes to the food to suit my grandparents. Can’t recommend enough and will definitely go back.”
“Apart from the very narrow aisles, this is your typical CoOp, with a wide choice of produce, fresh and packaged. The staff are friendly, polite and very willing to help. Handy car park at the rear with space for around 15 cars.”
“I ordered a few times before from here and it’s one of my fave takeaways! The owner is so nice person & the staff are really friendly. Very good atmosphere, & foods are so delicious, I ordered meatball supreme pizza & chilli chicken pizza , were absolutely amazing! prices are really reasonable. It’s underrated. I highly recommend it!”
“Best pizzas every! Dominos slaps everytime tandoori chicken is the best i have ever had! Service was good fast delivery and even when collecting staff are always friendly and fast.”
“This place is a great buffet restaurant. Is has free parking on site. The deco is very lovely and inviting. The variety is good. I wouldn't say it's huge but I actually like that, you don't need 15+ mains a good selection of the favourites is plenty. The quality was very good for a buffet restaurant. The starters even included fresh lamb chops, ribs and chaplis, which you don't see in many places. The Somosa chaat station was fab and even had a lovely chicken corn soup.. All my favourites. I would say the music was very loud unfortunately. The staff were a bit fussy about their bowls which was very odd. They had these tiny bowls which they would only give for ice cream. I wanted to give my toddler a bit of jelly in a bowl but they will would only give it on a plate and wouldn't give me one after I tried to convince them, in the end I had to get ice cream and then put the jelly in myself lol..she would have dropped the jelly all over the table if it was on a plate. My hubby tried to get a bowl for some mint sauce so I can dip my starters in.. Again they would let him and he kicked off and got one in the end.. It was strange and didn't understand why they were so reluctant to give out these plastic standard bowls. Apart from that the experience was lovely and price was a bit more that a standard buffet but not too bad. We paid £88 2 children 2 adults with some drinks. Had a prayer room too which was a bonus”
“My first time at Howdy! The steaks, the vibes and everything is overall phenomenally good. The “Lamb Sizzler” is so juicy, tasty and good to eat with good temperature, perfection and fresh. The atmosphere is good. Easy to talk while it is quiet to dine-in. The tables and seatings are always cleaned and easy to sit and relax. The service, the staff and everything is definitely good. Fresh and relaxing music too. Prices are good. Definitely and highly recommend Howdy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Love this store! I’m lucky enough to live nearby and never leave disappointed. You can find almost anything here – electricals, clothing, toys, and food. Prices are genuinely good, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. There’s even a McDonald’s inside and a clean, recently updated café downstairs. Overall, a great place to shop with something for everyone!”
“Little gem in Calverley. The Little Coffee House has a cosy atmosphere with friendly and kind hosts. I had scrambled eggs with smoked salmon on toast. The scrambled eggs were perfect - fluffy and delicious. They were melting in my mouth. Smoked salmon excellent complimented eggs with light saltiness and smokiness. My latte was creamy and smooth. It's definitely a place to return and try other items from the menu. Thank you!”
“After having reflected on my previous review of this café, I would like to reconsider my opinion. Food is well prepared and made with love, convenient area to stop by for a warm drink especially when cold days are approaching and aesthetics are pleasing to the eye. Staff are lovely. Would recommend.”
“What a cracking pub with a bus service to Leeds (and Dewsbury) outside! Warm friendly welcome and quality ale make this place a worthy entry into the 2024 Good Beer Guide. 3 regular cask ales plus 1 guest.”
“Best fresh cooked food in Pudsey ! (Restaurants included) flavours on flavours!! Never drive past with out going in to pick from either the Mediterranean sandwiches or sweet stand ! 10/10”
“Fabulous fresh produce, friendly staff nothing too much trouble”
“Tucked away in Sunny Bank Mills this pizza is heavenly. Din lighting supported by the natural light from the large old windows adds to the atmosphere, with the music volume perfectly sitting behind the background chatter. I had the garlic mushroom sauce wow, rich and creamy with a variety of mushrooms on a perfect garlic bread. The pizza was fantastic, wonderfully balanced sauce and tasty ingredients. Staff were cool and friendly, chill but attentive, and very welcoming. Loved it!!!!”

I've never had such a welcoming, such a happy chappy that made me feel at home straight away , he soon explained everything to me about the pizzas the showed me to the SPECIALS board , the food and the host was perfect so he convinced me to stay , and I must say I was very glad I did , without this young man at the front of this shop I would of left , all I can say he's a real credit to who ever owns this business, this chap called josh will go extremely far in the hospitality world ,, thank you”
“Tasty, fresh and friendly service. Such a treat to get authentic Turkish food in the village. I’d recommend this to anyone. Great vegetarian options - ask for the hot veggie Mezze not on the menu!”
“Fantastic food. Huge selection, And really friendly and kind staff. Perfect place for a bite to eat.”
“Outstanding food! I only discovered this place a few months ago but I've been here twice now and both times the food was incredible. The selection is great, it's well priced and the service is excellent too. Highly recommend the bagels, the Texan one with brisket in particular, but the roast beef one is also delicious and so it's the gochujang pork belly. The cakes are also very good.”
“This place is just perfect. We went for a lovely but chilly walk and finished up here after wanting to visit for ages and we weren't disappointed. Even from the outside it's special, and when you walk in its just a lovely fuzzy welcoming feeling of awesomeness. No.54 has so much quirky character, but natural, not forced. We sat at a beautiful, old arty table by the window and ordered full breakfasts. Everything on the plate was cooked perfectly and using great quality produce. I want to go back already, and can Imagine it being the perfect venue for a little celebration. Service was warm and friendly, and there's plenty of food choices to suit everyone. Resisted the cakes this time but I don't think that would happen next time!!!”
“Writing this on behalf of my mum who isn’t very good with technology- my mum visited today for the first time, as she has recently had surgery and wanted to get out. The young girl working was very helpful and made time to talk to my mum and ask about her day despite being busy, as the other lady was working the gift shop. The youngster chatting to my mum made her day as she can often feel lonely, she also made a beautiful latte . My mum wishes for this young lady to get the credit she deserves, although she didn’t catch her name but says she was tall with brunette hair. My mum says she will definitely be back, next time with all her friends.”
“2nd time I've ordered from here and both time the food has been spot on best butty had in a long time from a shop. “Absolutely love this little coffee house & eatery in Pudsey. They have attained the perfect balance - by infusing the art of coffee making with tranquil ambiance in setting. Cup 19 Coffee Lounge is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. I come here every time I visit my family in Farsley!”
