“Nice fish and chips. They have an eat in restaurant and takeaway. Food was okay but portion could have been bigger for the price.”

Plenty of space for sport, it has gym equipment, large playground, wooded area for dog walkers, a stream which children and dogs love to play in, and is conveniently right next to a Tesco. There is a car park at one end, and parking on the main road too.”

Rachael is marvellous very helpful and patient it took over an hour to sort us out, we couldn't get where we wanted , so we changed location, this travel agency needs a reward for all their care and service.All the staff have the same caring attitude very rare these days, well done.”

“A great reserve to walk round, the volunteers are doing a grand job tidying, repairing, planting. Check when the cafe is open and what's on, there's reserve walks and I've been to the otter talk very interesting. Dogs welcome on lead (have recall) as it's a nature reserve and trying to bring back and welcome the wildlife, poo bin there but gets full. Free car park other side of the canal”

“Always wanted to try food in so today brought the parents along to try out the food so on food thoughts waiting time was was fine service was very professional plus friendly also the food was a delicious very tasty plus very filling my parents had the burgers which looked very well presented and from what they said very tasty . The price for 3 meals plus drinks just under £50 which you definitely can’t go wrong with but you can taste the difference between a spoons meal and a very well cooked meal . Definitely will call back and try something else”

“I had to write this review as soon as we left. We only live over the road and I have to say the owner, the staff, the food and drink were beyond all expectations. We enjoyed every mouthful of our Christmas dinner and the service, the people and the atmosphere. In all the years of eating out I have never felt so welcome and had a service which surpasses theirs. I would like to thank everyone for such a pleasant and unforgettable meal. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and we will be having our wedding reception there.
