Tourist attraction in Halifax

“On a late Sunday morning in an unfamiliar area, this was a great find for a hungry couple. Basic seating, a few crumbs on the seat, and an smell of fry up ambience... BUT absolutely the very best toasties that we have ever had in our lives! And for the price, possibly the best value for money in Halifax (later dinner in a local Italian with raving reviews, left us flat...). We will most definitely return when we are back in the area. Thank you!”

“Staff were impeccably dressed. The guys on reception were lovely. It's a big old building with lots of rooms. It looks as though it's due a revamp, but In this current climate, the room was clean, comfortable, spacious and airy. The bath was big and deep and the towels were fluffy and clean. Breakfast was down stairs, and attention to service was lovely. Something you don't always get nowadays ... Nothing was to much trouble. Definitely worth the money..”

“Am rating my visit 5* due to the fact, the staff was extremely welcoming & went above & beyond for mine & my friends children/new born babies. They literally couldn't do enough for us & we just want to say thank you sooo much. The food was absolutely delicious even the hot choc with cream & marshmallows. We got burgers/onion rings & the manager throw in extras for us. As we were leaving the kids got free gifts from staff. Would defo recommend & can't fault this place what so ever.”

“The food was really nice, well prepared, and very cost effective for the amount of food I ordered. It was very tasty and still warm after I placed the order and drove home about 10 mins away. Service was polite, efficient and it was very busy for takeaway deliveries and also for collection, and people were still eating in the restaurant part as well.
