“Great walking experience. Easy parking, though you need to pay. Be aware of fake QR code sticker's on the payment machine. I use the payment app too be safe. There's a regular bus service between Eastbourne and Brighton which stops along various points of the seven sisters walk and Nd the the walk to Newhaven. So it's very easy to catch a bus back to your car.”

“we absolutely love it here . the guy writing the bad review went round taking the worst , there are some divine vans here . its so friendly, welcoming , the people are lovely . it’s conveniently near the port for the ferry to France . Half way between Eastbourne and Brighton. its old fashioned but that is its charm . It has its own beach right in your door step . we love everyhring about it here”

“If you like a good walk, park here, have breakfast or just a coffee in the cafe and then hike the Seven Sisters along the coastal path to Eastbourne via the Birling Gap (about half way and there's a cafe and facilities there) and the Belle Tout lighthouse. Seven hills to climb and seven valleys to recharge. The views from the cliffs over Beachy Head are spectacular. It's about a five hour walk. We had fish and chips by the pier as a reward! Catch the no. 12 bus back from Eastbourne to the country park to your car. Parking all day at Seven Sisters Country Park costs £7 (August 2025).”

“We had a one night stay in the Owl’s Nest on our hike along the South Downs Way. A truly lovely spot to rest after a long day hiking, beautiful location, peaceful, well thought out cabin with everything we needed. Mandy and Darran were wonderful hosts and provided us with the most delicious sausages and fresh eggs for our breakfast, setting us up for our next day walking. Will definitely be back!!”

“What a lovely place! Warm welcome, lovely atmosphere and fabulous food. I had the breakfast but the cakes looked absolutely divine too! The way the staff interact with the customers is lovely. They obviously have a lot of regulars and greet them by name. I needed to kill some time while my car was in for a service so decided to find somewhere for breakfast. I don’t really like eating out on my own but this place had such a lovely warm vibe I didn’t feel awkward at all. I will definitely be back!”

“I visited The Tide with my mum yesterday and it was such a lovely, friendly atmosphere, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. There were lots of vegan options and my tummy was rumbling so I was really grateful that we noticed this Cafe (you can't miss it, that beautiful psychedelic caravan is a real pull!). I wholeheartedly recommend this little Cafe to anyone visiting or living in the area.”

“I just love Sue and her amazing team. They look after my dogs so well when they are with them giving them amazing cuts and perfect nail trims. They use quality products leaving my dogs coats clean, shiny and smelling lovely. Biggie and Bertie always run around and have the best time also when having their pamer. “absolutely zero complaints, first time i had been and received delicious food and will be going again! there is a huge range of food and drinks, plenty to choose from. ordered online and had the *cheese and 2 onion rings* and added plenty of toppings. really really recommend it, if was absolutely delicious and the food was ready before the time I had selected to pick up, so it was a very smooth experience. the cheesy chips where just as delicious along with the milkshake!”

“Nice, homely atmosphere. The owners are really lovely and great company. The owner's father fought in WWII and he has a fantastic display of military uniforms and photos. Even the music is from that era, which was quite relaxing and enjoyable.”

“Kiefer designed and fitted quite a large kitchen in our house and we really couldn't have asked for more. We had some specific requirements, involving creating a laundry cupboard and boxing in a boiler, which could not have been met using the standard-sized units that many companies offer. Kiefer had the imagination and the capability to solve these problems, effectively giving us a bespoke design at a very reasonable cost. The result is stunning and has been much admired. We are very happy to have found a local family firm able to deliver such a high-end service and would recommend them to others without any reservation.”

“The STC team have recently completed a substantial refurbishment in my daughter’s property which comprised a new Kitchen, Bathroom and Downstairs cloakroom. The entire team have been very professional from start to finish including design, procurement and fitting. The fit took just under five weeks with a number of teams working on the project. The finishing is to a very high standard and the pricing reasonable given the work involved. We would strongly recommend Steve and his team, it is always unnerving to contemplate a project of this size but they have been great from start to finish.”
