They’re friendly, reliable, trustworthy and communicative. They send us messages and photos whilst we’re away which we love. It’s feels so good to know that our girls are in safe hands when we’re out of town. We’ve recommended them to lots of friends and neighbours over the years and everyone has always been super happy with their service!”

“Took me a while to find the perfect kennels for my anxious dachshund wilbur. These ladies are so wonderful! Its more of a doggy hotel then a kennels!! . Wilbur loves going, and gets so excited to see everyone. I trust them 110% with my boy.”

He has been known to get stressed out at catteries in the past and shows absolutely no signs of stress when I collect him from Cuckfield. My cats are not used to new environments and can be shy, but the folks at Benwick gave them great care. I was also really pleased with their communiication. “Friendly, attentive and highly experienced, the staff at Hammerpond are second to none. Our rescue dog was nervous at his first booking, but the staff handled it so well he was soon wagging his tail and enjoying being fussed over. The staff seem genuinely interested in each dog and are quick to pick up on each pet's preferences and sociability. The enclosed grass paddock is a big plus - other kennels I looked at only had a concrete or astroturf exercise area. It's wonderful to be able to leave our dog with such professionals and I can't recommend Hammerpond Kennels highly enough.”

“Sarah regularly walked our dog when we were having a challenging time with our second daughter. Sarah was so kind and thoughtful and our dog immediately took to her. She would be wagging her tail as soon as sarah arrived. Sarah was always prompt, reliable and flexible and took great care of our dog. Would highly recommend.”

“Can we agree? Dog people are nuts. I include myself here. I came in with a large, DIRTY, poodle…at lunchtime. “Do you have time?” I asked, ready to get the stink eye. “Of course we do!” Said the patient soul at the desk. When I returned my dog was clean, fluffy (better than I can do it!) and happy. The rates are more than fair. The shop is charming and spotless. OK, poodle-people, we should make these women very wealthy. BTW- the Golden I saw coming out as I came in looked really great too.”

“I can’t recommend Anna at Fluffies & Friends highly enough. She is so kind and caring and I just knew instantly she would look after my piggies well. Their enclosure was kept clean, they had time in the grass run and I received daily updates/photos. 5* i will be booking them in for future holidays. Thank you!”

Kate is amazing with Bella and 'gets' her weird ways and knows exactly how she will behave, what situations she may not feel comfortable in as Bella is a little nervous - she loves her walks with Kate and is always totally exhausted when she comes home - perfect! Bella loves Kate and gets so excited each week when she picks her up!”

“I just want to say that the latest review is totally outrageous just because a company closes for 1 hr for lunch for their staff to be able to take a break. We always tell our customers that we close between 1pm & 2pm we are one of the only kennels in the area that actually open on Sunday afternoons. This person proceeded to climb our wall and sit on top (as photo shows) of it trying to intimidate myself while I was eating my lunch. As I explained to the customer I am insulin dependent diabetic and need to eat if we didn’t close for lunch I would not get the time. My Manager uses the hrs lunch to groom & or feed any dogs that need it. The owner was off site and I told you she would be back later( 5pm.) I can guarantee that the dogs were not dehydrated nor were there water bowls empty as I had only just been round the dogs checking them & filling any that were low before I went to lunch. I am very proud of we’re I work and we all strive to make it a happy place for all our guests to stay it has upset us all to read this person’s review. I shall be reporting it as I felt very threatened and intimidated by them.”
