“We initially had our first daughter attending two nurseries due to shortage of spaces. It became increasingly evident from her mood in the morning that she much preferred Stonecroft. We subsequently moved her over to Stonecroft solely as soon as we could. I really feel our daughter has benefited from how the integration between the different rooms is managed. So when she moved up to toddlers she didn't feel overwhelmed and was able to settle immediately (not an easy feat based on the 2 YO in question!). The staff have provided an excellent teaching programme and I have been so surprised by the skills she has learnt for such a young age. These are also skills that just generally make everyone's life easier (i.e. putting shoes/coat on, washing hands, pulling down/up leggins/pants). They have managed to teach her these skills so much faster than I ever could by myself. Thank you Stonecroft! :) The food is also generally really good and they do make an effort to make sure they are well fed upon collection. The staff also enjoy taking the kids out to the park, softplay and even santa. Do not let the current Ofsted fool you; this is an outstanding nursery run by an excellent group of staff. Our daughter has loved attending the setting and it will be a very sad day when she leaves.”
