Very dog-friendly, with fantastic Cowshed treatments—but it would be even better if the Cowshed had its own proper sauna and steam room. The pool area isn’t warm enough, making it cold to walk between facilities, especially in winter. The outdoor wood-fired sauna is absolutely amazing, though the door could use better insulation. Food is superb, and in-room breakfast is a highlight. Don’t miss the cookies at turndown—an absolute must! Also, renting wellies for exploring the beautiful countryside trails is a great touch!”
