It was also a substantial amount of food split across the dishes - not so tiny that you feel the need to eat more afterwards. Our server Annie was very welcoming and nice, and accommodating by letting us sit outside and then move inside when it got cooler. Sitting outside was great, and the service was impressively prompt which made it all the better.”

“Situated in a very interesting street, it's a very interesting historical pub! Delightful little nooks to sit in. Visit on a Sunday afternoon and the folk club can be heard sharing its ditties from the front room which is a real delight. Food wise pork pie was great and good beers on tap, including Old Peculiar, so always going to get a 10 from me - ticks all the boxes of what a traditional English pub can be.”

“Cute cafe with nice staff. Had a couple of drinks from here such as a vegan blueberry smoothie, iced tea and a coffee. They didn’t have iced tea on the menu but when I asked they made it anyway which was fab. The breakfast looked nice but unfortunately haven’t had time to try. Service is good”

“I went for a team lunch with work, around opening time mid-week. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was varied and all delicious! I enjoyed the BBQ Chicken Burger with chips and coleslaw, and there were lots of lunch offers, such as 2 for £18. Also, some nice decor and lots of parking on site. I'll definitely be going back soon!”

We had the Hydrebadi lamb and a retro chicken tikka masala spiced up a little both were excellent especially of note was the lamb and the mixed starters were superb the popadoms fresh all round a lovely meal so thank you guys !”

“Visited here a couple of weeks ago for my nans birthday and had a lovely meal. We were a part size of 8 and the service was fantastic. The food tasted fresh and everything was cooked perfect. Totally recommend eating here for traditional pub meals. I have a gluten allergy and was well catered for and plenty of meals to choose from.”

“Was welcomed into the Saxon Mill Warwick front of house to have dinner so really glad we found it. The atmosphere was cosy and well designed decor. We received a good service from the team. The food was cooked to a high standard and the lamb was well done as requested. The restaurant was clean and being this was our first time in Coventry for a Special event was grateful that the Saxon Mill team welcomed us in to dine without a booking with the same food choices as the restaurant area. I recommend the Saxon Mill as a lovely place to done with family and friends lots of available free parking. Thank you Saxon Mill team”
