I have a child in year 7 and 8 and have found the school to be of a very high standard, with caring staff and an excellent senior leadership team. Having read some of the other reviews posted by children in this modern age of technology, it's quite sad that anyone can post whatever they like these days. One would hope that a parent/ carer would actually take time to visit a school before making such a big decision, rather than relying solely on reviews. My catchment school was Myton but I did not feel it could offer my daughter the support she needed. All schools have their own pros and cons but I can honestly say NL school was the best decision we made for our daughters education. The SEN department led by the Senco and her team are outstanding, and genuinely caring. I cannot praise them enough. Every child matters, not just the high achievers, everyone is encouraged regardless of academic abilities. Everyone is given the opportunity to flourish. Highly recommended a tour with students, who will always answer questions frankly!!. Very happy year 7 & 8 parent.”
