It’s very close to the main tourist area in the centre of Stratford on a main street We had booked online though there were plenty of tables available (there’s a big area upstairs also). The restaurant is elegant inside and were warmly welcomed by the staff. There was a 2 course lunch menu or a la carte to choose from. We ordered the duck rolls and papaya salad to start - both were fantastic and so tasty. For mains I had the duck with holy basil and my wife the chicken massaman curry. Outstanding food with great flavours. Massaman sauce was especially good. We passed on desserts. Service was friendly and timely. Overall a great meal and look forward to coming back.”

I have worked in the village for 5 years now and the old shop was always bare when I visited, rarely had what I was looking for when on a break which included tobacco and cold drinks. Am a regular visitor there now and I imagine that the housing estate (that was built a good few years ago) and other local residents appreciate they don’t have to travel to the other end of the village any more to get everyday bits and pieces.”
