“Food quality has deteriorated significantly since our last visit. Head waiter was unprofessional shouting at our waitress in front of guests. I know it's only Marco Pierre White's name over the door because if he was there the Head Waiter would either lose his job or get a very public drubbing. Scotch Egg is still worthwhile but everything else has taken a turn for the worse. Dauphinoise potatoes are very good though even if smothered too much in cheese”

“Ordered from this fantastic take away tonight for the first time. Wow the food was amazing full of flavour arrived earlier than expected delivery time and was pipimg hot. Not normally one for change but making the decision to choose this place tonight was the best decision to make. Will definatly be using Chopsticks as our new favourite take away. “We went for breakfast as a group of friends. Everything was the usual quality you'd expect from the premier Inn brand. The venue was nice and clean and the cooked food was out very quickly from the kitchen.. staff were happy to help and accommodating. I didn't take any photos on this occasion but the decor is very pleasant and and it's a comfortable place to eat.”

I came last Saturday and I cannot wait to come back again. I was served by Natalie and she was the best waitress one could ask for. “We came to Brownsover Hall tonight on their soft opening night. We have really looked forward to seeing the hotel come back to life after is declined under its previous owners. To say the new owners have redeveloped the hotel is an understatement. They have improved the hotel incredibly and turned it into a uniquely beautiful boutique hotel. The welcome was fabulous, the receptionist Alice was very pleasant and smiley, as were the bar staff and Adam we anssume F&B Manager was very welcoming too. In fact we spoke to a number of members of staff and all were friendly and welcoming. Harry served us and he was knowledgable and helpful and again exactly how you would want a high quality establishments staff to treat you. The food was excellent, the flat iron steak cooked to perfection. The other dishes we had were fabulous too. The tarte-tatin is most definitely worth waiting for. The ambience of the restaurant, Scott’s, was awesome and has as with the rest of the hotel been lovingly and skilfully interior designed. We will definitely return after such a lovely experience. We’ve used this hotel many times in the past and it is now another level. The new owners have created a wonderful experience. Well done on creating such a beautiful environment.”

“My Wife and I happened to find this venue when moored on the canal. We popped into Mancetter to check out the church and see if we could find lunch somewhere. It was a perfect find. Unusual but definitely worth the visit. I had sausages mash and peas while Sallie had a jacket potato beans coleslaw and salad. Both very plentiful plates. Neither of us could eat all our food but only because we aren’t used to such big meals. Highly recommend the venue for breakfast or lunch. Good value for money. Good food and excellent. Service.”
