“Just Wow! ♥️ My boyfriend surprised me with their Dream cake on my birthday which I should say was absolutely delicious and rich. I am not from Coventry but I’ve become a fan of their foods particularly this cake. The cake is really worth for this price as each bite of it gives you a dream heavenly feel. “5 stars flat. You cannot go wrong at Cheng’s Garden. Over the past 3 weeks, we’ve ordered take outs 3 times and the food just keeps getting better. The sweet and sour hong kong style is so good (and sweet of course), the chow mein and fried rice is to die for. Man but the Prawn toast ? My god. Best thing I’ve had in a while. I would highly recommend them. Please note that they only take cash though!”

“Really can’t praise the Click & Collect team enough for their assistance when the bank messed up the payment for my buffet order and it got cancelled. Their assistance was great - the lady ran around the store collecting items to make up the original order with the result that the event (which our local MP attended) went ahead on time without disruption.”

“Yesterday had the Italian crust veggie pizza from Domino's Nuneaton, and it was spot on! The crust was super thin and crispy, exactly how I like it. All the veggies were fresh and tasty, and the cheese was melted to perfection. Big shoutout and special thanks to the store manager who personally made this pizza ! Definitely one of the best pizzas I've had in a while—will be Coming again very soon for sure!"”

“The staff, food and service was all excellent. We were on the canal and wanted a treat, called up and they were helpful about bank holiday opening hours and we walked there and got a fabulous meal. Good value for money, attention to detail and very tasty. Sausages HUGE and the kebab was delicious. Fish was enjoyed very much and nothing was greasy and chips perfect.”

“There are 2 tables behind where one can eat inhouse. We had a simple lunch here. Thali has 2 subzi and 1 daal, one can select form what is there. Then we had 2 theplas for the kids. As we went quite early it was empty and staff was chatty with us. Then we had a chocolate burfi which had an actual layer of chocolate, in India it is just barfi with chocolate color.”

“To make this unbias and fair, I left it about a year to leave this review and had around 20-30 takeaways from Shahjalal in that time. Let me start by saying these guys produce some of the best tasting curries/dishes I've ever tasted in Indian Cuisine. I've not had one poor dish, not one! The presentation of the dish, even in the metal containers is great, the attention to detail is second to none. The delivery is always or ahead of time, every time. The costs are very reasonable for the quality you get. I wont be using anyone else again other than Shahjalal! Thank you a million guys, and keep doing what you're doing. Liam H.”

“Right little gem ! From the outside the sign is old so you know they do good food and been around for a while Overwhelmed with the kitchen size and menu, you want it. These guys gots it! Friendly staff and great tasting burgers We had these at work today. I was starving… I had the chicken. Perfect spice. Great tasting fresh chips and a decent price. Wish I had the kong burger looked very nice. See the last pic. Could have easily had all three. They are best burgers I’ve had for a while. Need to get this again. Great work guys. “Really lovely meal from here tonight. I had a mixed veg curry, the tub was completely packed so I had half of it to save for another day. I like that you can add or takeaway things and also that you can make it spicy. It was really tasty. Hubby had the Singapore fried rice, which you can also make extra spicy. Not the best he’s ever had but still pretty nice. It arrived well before the ETA which was nice. Will definitely be ordering again”

“Those guys are above any standards. They operate opposite club with drunk and other people coming all the time. But they show respect to anyone and they serve every customer like a king. Food is lovely. Bets budget pizza I've ever had. Highly recommended. Go and get your bite!!!”

“The last few meals we have had from this restaurant have been AMAZING! I’m not sure if the chef has changed, but the food has become so much better than it used to be. Most beautifully flavoured curry, the beef in the chow mien was perfect and the salt and pepper chips are by far the best I’ve ever had. We are officially converted from our other go to local Chinese. Highly recommend.”
