“Just want to say thank you to Colin and team for going above and beyond to repair my ABS, I had a recurring problem for months where the ABS light would flag up on the dashboard upon reaching a certain speed, and after repeated fruitless garage visits elsewhere, I was eventually referred to here by my usual garage. Colin and team went above and beyond and kept me informed every step of the way and explained how the ABS system works and all the inner issues as to why mine wasn't working, how it should normally work and what he was going to do to rectify it. I would rate higher than five stars if I could as it seems to me that mechanics who know how things should be and exactly why things don't work and how they should work are few and far between and he was also determined to get to the root of the problem and rectified other issues along the way that were contributing factors. He worked really hard, tested and retested the car to tackle the root of the problem. Service was honestly outstanding and I would recommend TJ Wallace to any motorist needing their ABS sensors looked at, thank you very much!”

This was around 10am Tuesday. I was given a diagnosis by 11am and by 1.30pm the new heater blower motor was fitted and I was back out on the road teaching. Amazing turnaround and also thanks to Automania who supplied the parts in time. So Heater motor stops working Monday night and by 1.30pm on Tuesday I have a new one fitted and out working again. “Went into Halfords at Seafield Edinburgh to get new headlight bulbs fitted. The guy dealing with me was excellent as while he was changing my bulbs he noticed my car engine was covered in oil. I had not long back had an oil change carried out (elsewhere) and they had not put the oil cap & dipstick back properly and it was spraying oil all over my engine. The guy at Halfords cleaned up the oil mess, checked my oil level (already down to 1/2) and made sure everything was back on correctly having got me to start the car up to check. Gave me some advice fir when I drove off and told me to keep a close eye Finally I had purchased a tyre inflator from Halfords at the start of December which I thought was faulty. He checked it, confirmed it was faulty and switched it over. Great customer service and peace of mind for me when I then drove off from Halfords this morning. Excellent.”
