βA good night spot for a night outβ
βGreat bar people and good door people, they will look after you. fun for the young & more. ( good place to go and dance)β
βI can't recommend Jonathan and Pegasus highly enough. We had to urgently explore getting a conference online due to the red weather warning, and Jonathan went above and beyond to make sure that it could be possible, including appearing in person half an hour after the initial urgent early-morning query to fully explore what was needed. Brilliant customer service. Thank you.β
βGreat to have so much live music back. Great night out.β
βBest nightclub in Edinburgh and always a good night, would recommend it to anyone in the area. Staff are really friendly and very competitive pricing. Canβt go wrongβ
βNew Nightclub with 3 rooms, 1 RnB, 1 Latin and 1 Chart music, ViP rooms, 495 capacity.β
βEnjoyed my time at Legends. Good people at the - loved the atmosphere.β
βI love the music well some of it. I always go there really early like on Saturday just past I went there for 6:30pm thinking that the bouncers were there to let me in. Regardless if the bouncers were there or not I'd still be allowed in cause I'm 27. But love grand central nightclub. I go there once a week on a Saturday for myself regardless if I have no money or not.β
βWe would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our wedding DJ for creating an unforgettable atmosphere on our special day. The music selection was impeccable, and the dance floor was alive with energy. Our guests had an incredible time, and we are grateful for the DJ's talent in keeping the party going. Thank you for adding the perfect soundtrack to our wedding celebration. Mr and Mrs Lopezβ
βI went to Bongo for Hogmanay/new years eve. I am from Norway and went there with a friend of mine. The music is good. It is 2 floors if i remember correctly. So the first floor is more tehcno type. The 2 floor is more the typical nightclub music and vibe. It is not a very big club but still a nice place. Mostly people in their early 20s and 18-19s. All the bartenders, bouncers and the rest of the crew were really polite and cool to us. So i have nothing bad to say. I will come back and visit Bongo next time i visit Edinburgh.β
βThe Spey Lounge, Where do I begin... A pub of untold Character, unfiltered spirit and a place that oozes legacy from first Glance to the last drop of your pint. I am fortunate enough to overlook this fine establishment.. No.. Bohemian institute.. would be better words. Drawing in crowds from far and wide ... but mainly locals. The wind carries the whispers and chants from the 24/7 Karaoke machine... as Legend goes it has yet to be turned off since its purchase in the late 90's with Disco light machine in tow. Depending on your fortune, if the planets align just right you may witness a spectacle of nature. Survival. Man vs Man, the ultimate duel. The nightly mating rituals begin from midnight into the early hours of the morning requiring the males to display dominance in any way possible. From who can hold the most swally to a barbaric fist fight. A true glimpse into the mindset of a Spey-Walker.β
βGREAT DJ's GBX AND DARREN STYLES, TRY AND BUY TICKETS BEFORE EVENTS AS YOU GET IN BEFORE 9pm, usually 7ish, BUT IF YOUR PAYING AT THE DOOR, YOU WONT GET IN BEFORE 9pm BECAUSE PRIORITY TO TICKET HOLDERS ON BIG NIGHT AND GUEST DJ's. TIP: bulk buy your alcohol, as the queues are shocking..BRILLIANT NIGHT OUTβ
βThis is one of my favorite things I did in Edinburgh. There was an 8 quid cover fee, but it was worth it! Obviously the 70s and 80s music is a hit and everyone there is dancing and singing and having the time of their lives! The music is loud, but I still felt a sense of community which I don't normally feel in clubs (if that makes any sense at all??)! Highlight of the evening was when they played the 1989 Belgian Techno anthem, Pump Up the Jam. Any time I thought maybe I should get back to the hotel, I kept saying, AFTER THIS SONG! and kept dancing. The drinks were not outrageously pricey, though the shots were not particularly strong. Just an amazing time all around!!!β
βfrom the USA! we came because we heard good reviews, it was a lot of fun! (must be drunk) house music on Saturdayβs (idk about other days of the week) it was great! people were nice. just be smart.β
βBest night out in edinburgh!! Don't understand where the comments about racism come from considering most of the doormen are Indian but we move. Its cheap, different tunes most nights so something to suit everyone's taste! Have drank in Hive since 2014 and genuinely won't go anywhere else now!β
