“Was in this branch in Knightswood, Glasgow, for the first time and the customer service was amazing. Before I even got inside the store, an employee who was having a break saw me get out of my car with crutches and immediately offered help. He told me where the trolleys were and opened the door for me. This continued with every member of staff I encountered - friendly, helpful, patient. This is not my usual branch, but will be from now on. What a difference this made to my day. Thank you to all staff”
“Great variety, decent prices helpful staff”
“Our Iceland is situated in the East Kilbride shopping centre. I find that no matter when you go, it's always busy. There are always some kind of deals on. They have a small selection of fruit & vegetables. The quality is good. You can get all your basic food items plus plentiful mixture of frozen foods. They use every bit of space available to display items. You sometimes have to look closely to locate an item. Well stocked and sufficient staff to ensure that tills are manned and available to help shoppers. Don't appear to have shopping trollies which means that doing a large amount of purchases is difficult. Overall, a good store.”
“Felt unwell whilst shopping today. Just want to thank your kind caring member of staff who helped me. She gave up her till chair to allow me to sit and recover. Lovely lady with fantastic customer skills. Thank you it was much appreciated. (Sorry I didn’t get your name (lady with long dark hair)) Christine”
“Iceland is housed in the piazza shopping centre which is right in the middle of Paisley. It's positioned well to pop in for bits and pieces when in town. The only limit is the opening times are in line with the centre so no late opening days. On a Tuesday they do a pensioner discount day so if you're doing a big shop avoid a Tuesday as it can be busy. You can shop in store and have it delivered at a time that suits for a small charge or you can order online and again get it delivered. I personally use this option especially when ordering heavier goods like crates of juice. They also have a type of loyalty card and if you top it up you can normally get bonus pounds. So for every 20 put on it you'll get a £1 normally. You can then use this online or in-store to pay for your shopping. Every penny counts and all that. Great selection of produce as well and not all frozen. Plenty of fresh, dairy, alcohol too so a bit of everything which is handy as there are no supermarkets in the area.”
“Great prices can't beat them! Go there next to station!”
“Got what I needed and the staff are all lovely.”
“I get my weekly shopping from Iceland, delivered to my house. I was passing by, so went in for some fruit. This is an extremely well stocked shop & it was great to see all the new items they have. The prices are good, even with the cost of living increase. You can have your shopping delivered to your house if you spend a certain amount of money. As well as a wide selection of their own foods, they also sell Slimming World meals. These are brilliant if you are trying to lose weight. The meals have the recipe on them, should you wish to replicate it. The shop is on the level. I've never asked about toilets, but if you go to the Houldsworth Centre around the corner, there are toilets there, during the day.”
“Cheapest price and best quality and friendly staff service”
“The best fresh tandoori bread is being baked here daily. Excellent quality bread. The baker and the lady behind the counter are very polite, friendly, and professional. Highly recommend this supermarket.”
“This store is packed from floor to ceiling with all groceries South Asian. I live in the West End and haven't found a better selection of fresh produce in this area. It has become an essential stop. Last week, I was able to purchase greens like amaranth, malabar spinach, sorrel (gongura), and fenugreek (methi). Today, I found fresh shelled papdi in packets. For someone like me who regularly cooks Indian food, the variety provided is inspirational. I should also say a word about the staff. In my experience, they are polite and helpful.”
“Locate inside malls, no self checkout but staff are very friendly, open till 18:00 Not like 21:00 as hillhead branch. But pros is there is car park which is more convenient than hillhead.”
“A great place to buy your daily needs, with an impressive selection of spirits. They have an excellent collection and variety to choose from.”
