“omg this cafe is fabulous - don't let it's location put you off. The breakfast was delicious and the ladies working there were so lovely and friendly. We popped in here on our way home from our holiday - if ever in the area again we will be back”
“HU6 Walking Group have regularly booked a table at Dancing Goat because of its popularity, we have turned up just for drinks and their hasn't been a table available for us, but the staff have shuffled tables and chairs around and made us feel very welcomed and no trouble at all. So, when we have agreed to eat here, we know because we are a group of around 12 people, we had better book in advance in order for the staff to arrange a space to accommodate us. The food as always is and has been faultless, so on behalf of our group, would unreservedly recommend a visit to Dancing Goat, to sample the food, drinks and hospitality. Keep up the great work.”
“The Costa team who served us today were truly a credit to the company.”
“The staff are the best in Beverley, nothing is too much trouble, once they get to know the regulars they even don’t usually ask as they already know which is great persona service, clean and tidy always”
“Looking for a cafe that had gluten free options we found this one and it was a lucky find. I had a gluten free panini and my husband had the soup. I also had gluten free cake - there was a choice of gf cakes too - and a latte. The shop at the back was an unexpected bonus with beautiful ready made pinafores for children and lots of yarns and material”
“Love this place! My husband and I very often coming here for breakfast, brunch or even lunch. Any time of the day in any weather condition the "Tasty Butties" guys are always there and always serving very tasty food! If you ask "What about the size of the position?", I can tell you that the portions are big!”
“Beautiful food. What a lovely restaurant. If in the area I would advise going.”
“This is a very nice little cafe in Beverley which serves breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas etc. They used to be in the antiques centre in Butcher Row and have moved to the new premises in Dyer Lane this year. They open till late on a Friday and Saturday nights. The food is delicious and the staff are really friendly. They have a specials board with meals of the day as well as the usual menu.”
“I came back after the management change pushed by the amazing experience I had previously. This place never stops conquering my heart, the food remains incredibly tasty and delicious and the coffees are outstanding. Also, the portions are generous for a great price. The service is impeccable, kind and efficient. Overall, a pleasure to spend a nice Sunday morning with the new team :)”
“Lovely place to have an independent coffee; especially good when the sun shines so that you can do a little people watching whilst sitting outside. The inside is quite small so it is often very full but there is always the option to take the continental approach and sit outside at one of the many tables. Poma is also a great place for an icecream or two - even better that they have gluten free cones.”
“Superb breakfast destination when in Beverley. The breakfasts are wholesome and extremely tasty. With the largest sausage I have ever had the pleasure of eating. Choice of large, medium and small. My wife had the small and I went for the medium (couldn't manage a large one). Our Cockerpoo had a sausage bowl free of charge. With a good strong cuppa, it was sensational. We shall call here again, the food here is worth every penny. Well done Polly's, don't change a thing.”
“Friendly relaxed town center eatery with varied breakfast and brunch menu. Perfect way to start the day.”
“Me & The wife called into Beverley on our way home, wife always likes a coffee so whilst she was window shopping I spotted Blu Luna, nice little place amongst the usual Cafe Nero etc. I'm so glad we called in for a late breakfast. It was a warm welcome and made to feel at ease and choose our table, I understand some other comments about tight tables, which might be a squeeze if full. Never the less we ordered 2 x cappuccinos, Nduja & Tuscan sausage. Service was very friendly and didn't wait too long for our food, which they were both gorgeous, great coffee's. When entering, you see their sweet treats & paninis in full view (next time) lovely decor with seating up and downstairs, also outdoor seating front & rear. In all, we had a great experience and look forward to returning sooner rather than later. Thanks, Neil & Jane”
“Since I started school here, Red Chilli has been my go-to spot for authentic Nigerian food. I’ve tried other African restaurants in Hull, but nothing compares to the flavors and quality I get at Red Chilli. The food here brings me a real taste of home, and it’s consistently delicious. Every dish feels freshly made with just the right spices, and I can tell they care about maintaining that true Nigerian flavor. Their jollof rice, suya, and egusi are some of my absolute favorites. Not only is the food spot on, but the portions are generous, so you always get a satisfying meal for a good price. Red Chilli is more than just a restaurant for me; it’s a piece of home away from home. If you’re looking for an authentic Nigerian dining experience in Hull, this is it – nothing else comes close!”
“I love my food and I only give honest reviews and to be honest I wasn’t expecting great things but how wrong can a person be I had a large bacon egg and sausage well done and I’ve had this sandwich in really posh places and they was not as good as this place wow I loved it I wanted to go back for a second and wish I had I would love too try more from here , defo recommend”
“My husband and I visited here on Sat. It's a beautiful place to unwind either for lunch or just a drink. I can't comment on the meals as we only had a coffee and a bun, which was lovely, a bit expensive but worth the ambience of the place. There are a couple of nice walks around the area also.”
“One of my favourite Nero cafes in the country. I live in Hull but I like to go to Beverly for a walk and shopping. I always prefer to sit there. Quiet place, staff are really nice and coffee is perfect as always. Highly recommended.”
“My favourite stop for a coffee whilst out shopping with my Boyfriend. Great coffee, great cakes & pastries. We love it. Nice savoury items too. Dogs are welcome in Caffe Nero which is excellent.”
“We had so much fun here!! I was amazed at how well everything here has been done. The HUGE tree trunks and the high and low ropes course is ACE. You go inside and then outside on the course. I'd never done anything like this before and I loved it!! I had a go on the Big Leap too and it's scarier than it looks!! We did the Super Slide too and it was hilarious seeing everyone shoot out the bottom. We took the little ones too - by 1 yr old, then a three and five year old. They had loads of fun in the sandpit, and going in and out of the hobbit holes. The playground is good, and I can't wait for the soft play to open too. I'm sure this is going to be great for the winter months. Really impressed.”
“Lovely little place, excellent service. Ordered the chicken quiche, chicken ceasar salad, panini sandwich and steak sandwich. Big portions.”
“Oh, this was a grand little find! Tucked away in a back room behind the church. Open Fridays only 10 til 2. Friendly, pleasant and relaxing, very much community feel vibe. Reasonably priced menu with homemade baking proffered. Children's menu. Good range of hot drinks. I had a slab of homemade orange cake and it was the lightest, fluffiest of concoctions. Right choice! I had a brie and cranberry panini which was a colourful and tasty plateful. I'd have tried the courgette and brie soup on the specials board but only saw that after ordering. Good to have a more unusual selection. Recommended and would revisit.”
“Just love this little place. Food is wholesome and reasonably priced. Kids beans on toast for just £2. Little play area, clothes swap and drop, books and jigsaws for the children. There's even a little fresh bakery where you make donations. Stones throw away from the trains station and Flemingage!”
“A nice quiet and relaxing place Food and drinks at a reasonable price Staff friendly and helpful”
“Excellent cafe for a morninng cup of tea after shopping in the supermarket”
“Fabulous little gem in Beverley. Perfect position with superb friendly customer service and amazing coffee! Great value for money”
“I've just been dealt with by the most attentive and professional Pret staff member, her name was Amelia, it was pretty busy and hectic in there but in an amongst the madness she corrected my order for me and served me exactly what I was trying to ask for and even topped it off with a pretty smile, she's a credit to Pret and I hope she gets the recognition she deserves, I would definitely recommend.”
“Lovely little cafe! The back is beautiful with a bright and airy conservatory! The food came quickly after we ordered! It was fresh and delicious!”
