“How the young guy at the till kept his cool with a customer insisting an on- line offer should be applied in-store was beyond me. The queue was getting longer and longer and more annoyed that another till opened briefly, then shut again. Manager was called, saying nobody available due to doors being open because of a delivery ( true, I saw the delivery wagon when entering retail park) . My only criticism is surely at near Xmas times that more people should move onto the tills when something like this occurs!! ? And to clarify on its on-line deals. Apart from that, it's generally a fantastic store, well run , well presented and clean . Credit to the young guy on the till on Saturday 16 December.”

Emily was in the menswear on her own and it was super busy, yet she gave us customer service that I haven witnessed in a store for many years! “Although most of the Chinese restaurants on Hull are similar, most of them are northern China taste, this one is more like southeastern Chinese taste, that means less MSG and other chemicals. Ordered Yung Chow Fried Rice and beef with spring onions. It took 10 minutes only to get the food. Meat is seasoned very well, and the fried rice is good with differential ingredients. Employees are nice and friendly, complimentary fortune cookies are so lovely.”

“Morrisons is always good value and ample choice. Aisles are wide so plenty of room for stopping to browse items without feeling you are blocking another shopper wishing to get past. There is usually a very good choice of meats and fish on the butchery counter, with offers on weekly. The fruit and veg are always fresh and tasty. Never any issue with parking.”
